Chapter 37: (Cassie's POV)

*The Next Day*

"C'mon guys! Let's go!!" I cheer, grabbing Sadie's arm and dragging her out of the air port.

We race out of the baggage claim and out the front doors together. With loud giggles and exasperated breaths we make it over to my precious car. "My baby!!" I yell, hugging the side of my car.

It's hard to think this thing hasn't been used in over a month or two!! All it's done is sit in this airport parking lot, here in Charleston, South Carolina. Sadie laughs at me and pulls me away. I smile giddily at her and throw our bags in the somewhat of trunk there is.

The two of us chat happily while we wait for the boys and Sadie asks, "How will we all fit?"

I smirk deviously and explain to her my way of fitting everyone. "But isn't that illegal!!" She exclaims, throwing her hands in the air.

"What's illegal? Cassie? What are you doing?" Preston asks, walking up with the boys, and being my typically over-concerned brother.

Phil shoots me a worried look, but I explain to them, that we won't get pulled over as long as they stay put. With that they throw their stuff in the truck and attempt to fit in the car properly.

"No Phil, you sit there and Dan your there! PJ you go right there and Chris sit there. Preston you sit in the front seat, not the back!" I yell, trying to get the boys to sit in their proper spots.

The only person who is siting correctly is Sadie. She snickers quietly while watching me struggle with the others. But after a couple more difficult minutes they manage to solve the problem.

With that I climb into the driver seat and put the key in the ignition. The familiar rumble of the engine starts and I smile excitedly. With a devilish smirk, I pull out and hit the gas.

"Jeez! Cassie! Slow down! You'll get pulled over!" Preston shouts over the wind.

Ignoring him, I laugh and enjoy the familiar feel. The smell of the marsh engulfs us and the wind rushes around us and into the car. Sadie holds her hands up and laughs along with me.

I turn on the radio and blast the music. Preston scowls at me and shakes his head. "This is my car so too bad!!" I scream over the music and wind.

Sadie and I exchange glances as one of 'our' songs comes on and we begin singing along. "SHE LOOKS SO PERFECT STANDING THERE, IN MY AMERICAN APPAREL UNDERWEAR!!!" The two of us belt out.

Another ten minutes pass and then we arrive at the house. With whispers of "Thank god we're here" and tired sighs, the seven of us head inside. The minute we enter the house, I run up to my room, which is pretty much gutted, except for my bed, dresser, and desk.

A few pictures remain as well, but that's it. Overall I'm just glad to be home. "CASSIE!!! WE WANT FOOD!!! COME FEED US!!!" Sadie screams up the stairs.

I drop my suitcase and back pack in my room, then slide down the railing of the stairs. I hop off at the bottom and meet the others in the kitchen. They all look at me eager for lunch. With a roll of my eyes, I ask what they want.

"MAC AND CHEESE!!!!" Sadie yells first, jumping up and down.

The rest agree to eat Mac and Cheese and leave the kitchen upon my demand. The only one who remains is Phil. He helps me make lunch and while the noodles cook we talk about plans for the week.

I push myself up onto the counter and cross my legs. "Well, we'll definitely go to the beach and walk around Down Town. Um.. we could go to the mall.. And.. We could visit a historical site if you guys want, I bet Sadie would. Then maybe go to the aquarium.." I say, getting side tracked with all the things we can do.

Phil chuckles as I go on with the list of activities. He shakes his head and says, "Sounds like we'll be here forever."

I punch his arm lightly and smile. After a few more minutes of laughing and chatter, the Mac and Cheese is ready. Phil dishes out bowls of the Mac and Cheese while I gather up drinks for the group.

The two of us set up the table, making sure everyone has a designated spot to sit in. Then I call everyone to lunch. "LUNCH TIME!" I scream.

I sit down at the head of the table and wait politely for everyone to sit before eating. Through out the course of lunch we decide to go Down Town and walk around for the afternoon, even though we just got here and all of us are pretty tired. But oh well!

After lunch, Preston and the boys head off to decide who's room is who's, while Sadie and I clean up. Just as I put the last dish in the dishwasher, Sadie grabs my arm and drags me upstairs. "C'mon! I want to go soon! So get ready quickly!"

With that the two of us get ready for the day. I put on a pair of black, galaxy shorts, a black tank top that says "Normal is Boring", a pair of fully black vans, and I braid my wondrously, blue hair.

Sadie exchanges her plane clothes for a pair of black, jean shorts, a plaid, sleeveless, shirt that says "Too Cool for School", and a pair of grey converse. Then she grabs her TARDIS backpack and sets off down stairs. Doing the same, I sling my Supernatural backpack over my shoulder and follow her downstairs. This ought to be an amazing and exciting afternoon!
