We finish our breakfast and I see that Peyton is wearing the same clothes he was wearing yesterday.
"Don't you have any other clothes???" I ask.
"No. These are all I have. My dad told me to leave everything he bought for me, so I walked out with nothing." he answered.
"Oh sorry. I brought it up"
"No. It's fine I just need to gather up some money to get clothes."
"No! It's not fine! You need something other than those rags Isaak gave to you!"
"But I don't have the money to get new clothes."
"You shouldn't have told him that. He loves shopping." Jake exclaims taking a sip of his coffee.
"That I do~!" I say with a smile on my face
"Let's go I'm tired of seeing you in those rags.«
"Daddy can I go with?" Feli says wagging her tail
"I thought you wanted to go to Jake's parents today."
"I do but.."
"Go with Jake to his parents now and I'll take you shopping tomorrow. Ok."
"Okay daddy," she says before running to Jake.
"As I was saying, let's go."I say as I walk out the door.
"So what happened between you and your dad?"I ask, as we start walking down the street.no
"It's kind of a long story." Peyton sign's
"We have time it's a 40 minute walk to the nearest clothes store."
Peyton explains everything that happened between him and his dad on the walk.
"That's terrible. You're his son! He should never treat you that way!" i say walking into the store.
"Yeah i know. Oh and thank you for taking me in."
" Well it wasn't like that had a choice. Isaak kinda dumped you on us but you're okay to stay as long as you need."
"Again. Thank you."
"No problem. Now let's find you suitable clothes."
