Miya
Few weeks later...
"I can't believe I'm here again." Miya huffed as her and Saya walked through the court house doors.
"I can't believe it either, the last time we were here it was for j-"
"Don't you dare say that salty bitch name." Miya snapped on Saya. She didn't mean to buy Miya hated the female Saya was about to bring up. She gave Miya the most hell when she first got to Chicago her sophomore year, and just like Miya snapped on Mckenzie the beginning part of the year, she snapped on that bitch the summer of their junior year.
"Oh yeah, I forgot." Saya giggled then kissed Miya cheek.
The two were silent as they walked to the assigned court room the meeting was being held. As Miya was about to push open the door she stopped.
"What's wrong?" Saya took notice of Miya's changed behavior and started to worry.
"What if they try to take me back to the crazy people house? Saya I'm not crazy." Miya clenched her fist and looked down at her heels.
"Remember what Mason said, people are out here to make people like you crazy, just because you have a little episode. Keep calm, the man above got you. I got you, we got you. Now go in there and knock em dead." Saya smiled the frown a little. "Don't knock em dead, I still need you here with me."
A small smile spread Miya face before she shook her head.
"Come on." Miya grabbed her hand and pulled her in. Walking in Miya watched as her lawyer and Crystals lawyer, nudging her eyebrows Miya came into contact with the eyes of Mckenzie.
"I know damn well these two bitches did not." Saya whispered yelled.
Miya looked over at her lawyer who had a smirk on his face, and did a slight nod.
"Don't worry my lawyer got this." Miya sighed lightly. Looking over Miya palms started to get sweaty and she felt as though she was close to throwing up.
He did a slight nod and looked ahead.
"What your dad doing here?" Saya shook her head and patted Miya on the shoulder.
"Don't mind him, he's probably here for moral support. What you need to do is focus on winning this case."
Miya nodded then hugged Saya lightly and went to go sit on next to her lawyers.
"You're a little late." Mark leaned over.
"Sorry. I had to keep control." Miya leaned back in her seat.
Mark nodded his head.
"Well, the judge is still in the back room so you're fine."
Miya her head and played with her thumbs. The tension started to build quickly and it was making Miya very uncomfortable. The knot in her throat seem to worsen, and she had a doubt that she was not going to win this case.
"All rise for judge Lopez." The cop yelled out.
Everybody stood to their feet and watched as the judge walked in with his gown following behind him. The jugde sat down in his seat and hit the mallet a few times.
"Please be seated."
Everyone sat down as Miya looked around the room.
"Okay, Ms Jones you have filed as case against Ms Jefferson on an assault charge, now may I ask why?"
The judge folded his arms and looked at Crystal as if she was stupid.
