Miya

She stared outside the bedroom window as the movers shuffled around in her closet. She didn't understand her fathers logic in moving her again.

"Tell me why I have to move?" Her voice came out monotone when she smelt his strong cologne beside her.

"I don't want that boy around you Miya. This is his second time putting his hands on you, and this time in front of a crowd of people like that shit was okay."

"You could have given me security." Miya used a hand to lightly rub her neck. It was sore and shooting sharp pains from just a few hours ago. "I really liked this house."

Ever since they made it into the car, her father was calling people to make the move happened, and here they are two hours later into the early morning moving her stuff.

"Security won't last Miya."

"Don't you have things to do?" Miya asked him as she glanced over at him. He was aggravating her to the T.

"I canceled all plans to make sure that everything goes smoothly." He placed his hands in his suit pocket and stared out the window with her.

"Where am I moving to next? I literally just got my mail sent to this house and what about the shop down here that you said was in the making?" Miya arched her brow at him.

"You never hired anyone since the shop was done, you haven't even went down to get the keys, so I sold the shop yesterday and where ever you're moving too is none of your business until you get there since you like to run your mouth to that boy." He side eyed her.

Miya mugged at him but continued to look out the window. He's right, she never hired anyone or had the motivation to do anything about a shop. To her, deep down, doing hair wasn't her passion anymore. Too much females and too many problems.

"Do I still get to keep this house?"

"What's the point Miya?" He asked her.

"Because I like the house." She huffed.

He heard her father sigh heavily. "You're one spoiled child."

"You don't have no one to blame but yourself." Miya glanced at him before looking over her shoulder to see a man walking up to her father.

She watched as they whispered to one another about god knows what. Shaking her head Miya looked towards the bed and scoffed. She couldn't believe she fucked Mason on this bed just a few hours prior and now the bed was empty of everything, as if they were never in it.

Miya looked down at her flat stomach and cursed herself. If she would have known what was going to happen tonight she wouldn't have said yes to him. She felt stupid.

"Stupid little girl."

Miya arched her brow and looked at her dad, but he was still talking to the man.

"Oh god." Miya rubbed her forehead as she walked away from them.

"We told you that boy didn't love you. He basically chose his ex over you."

"Miya, oh god what?" She heard her father call out from behind her.

"When are we leaving?" Miya quickly turned on her heels to face him. She needed to get out this house.

"He was just telling me that the plane has just landed at the airport. We can leave now if that's what you want."

"Yes, we need to leave now." Miya quickly walked out of the room and rushed outside.
