Miya
"How have you been miss Miya?" She folded her hands on top of her desk as she stared her down.
"Lovely." Miya place a finger under her chin with a dull expression on her face. This was her second therapy session and she did not fell like being there. She hated everything about therapy sessions. They were stupid and there was no point for her being here.
"So I see you aren't feeling today." She grabbed the papers next to her and stacked them neatly together.
Miya stared at her blankly and crossed her ankles together. She got comfortable in her chair and sighed heavily.
"You know you're suppose to speak to me about your problems." Dr. Collins arched her brow. She quickly stacked the papers on the other side of her neatly and looked back at Miya.
Miya pressed her lips together tightly and chuckled to herself.
"I honestly don't have to speak to you, but you should be the one to ask me questions that is why I'm here; so that you can get to know me better and get down to the root of my quote on quote problem." Miya arched her brow mockingly.
Dr. Collins dropped her head lightly and laughed herself, but Miya didn't see anything funny.
"Miya, oh Miya. I'm trying to make this go as smoothly as possible for you so you can go on about your day."
Miya shrugged her shoulders and yawned. She covered her mouth and threw her head back, acting as if she was bored, which she indeed was.
"Well I can tell that this won't go anywhere." Dr. Collins sighed heavily.
"It really won't." Miya agreed. "So you should just let me leave. I have money to make."
"At your shop? Or take your boyfriends money off his card?" Mrs. Collins arched her brow.
"How I get my money isn't any of your business." Miya placed a finger under her chin.
"You're absolutely right, how you get your money is not my business." She nodded her head and chewed on her bottom lip.
Miya stared at her and blankly.
"So can I leave?"
"Miya you can not leave until your session is over-" She looked at her watch then back up at Miya. "In two hours, so you might as well get comfortable and talk to me."
"I don't have to talk to you period. I thought we already discussed this."
"Miya you are one hard headed person." Dr. Collins shook her head.
"Yup I'm a hard headed brat that my boyfriend, father, and co-workers have to deal with on a daily basis." Miya nodded as she folded her legs over the other.
"How's your boyfriend by the way?" Dr. Collins arched her brow with a slight smirk on her face.
Miya started at her with her eyes squinted. She thought about answering the question because she hated giving people what they want, but Mason did tell her to play the part until he's able to come back home.
She took a deep breath and twisted her lip to the side.
"He's fine."
"And you're father?"
"I don't speak to my father as much, so I wouldn't know." Miya shrugged.
Dr. Collins took a notepad out her desk and began to write things down. After writing them she looked back up at Miya and smiled.
