Miya
She watched as the dancers came up to the V.I.P then looked to her right at the man she calls her boyfriend. Not once has he looked up from his little meeting with the rest of the gentleman that was crowded around him, giving her the relief that he was not going to try to cheat on her.
Looking up at Mason as he talked have her a tingling sensation and at the moment she just had to feel him. She slid behind him and wrapped her arms around his torso. He looked back at her and a smirk found it's way to his face before winking and turning his attention back to the group of men.
Miya looked over at Saya and the two stared at each other. Not one of them looked away until Saya shook her head and reached into her small clutch to take out her phone. Miya swallowed hard and tightened her grip around Mason as her eyes went low.
She just knew that her best friend was saying that something is wrong with her, and Miya totally agreed. She knew something wasn't right about her, she knew that ever since her mom left this earth something was going to go wrong, and instead of trying to push the problematic troubles away Miya embraced them with open arms; making her one of the most cold hearted, lifeless, psychopaths to ever walk the streets of her old home and Chicago.
Miya hated when people classified her as mental or worse, crazy. She hate that her multiple disorders stop her from living a normal life as a person and a successful business owner. Which limits her from doing anything that could help her. Miya know that she can't attend anything competitive competitions due to the fact that the little voices will start to doubt and sabotage her, and Miya did not want that to happen. She didn't want the voices to take control over her, she refuse.
Feeling something wet roll down her cheek, Miya jerked away from Mason and quickly wiped it away. Mason look back towards Miya and turned his attention towards her.
"What's wrong?" Concern laced his voice and Miya shocked her head.
"I don't want to ruin the night, I'm just going to go home, so you can finish condoning you're meeting in peace." Miya didn't want to tell him what was running through her head. That would give him more reasons to call her crazy.
"You're in the middle of the club crying about god know what, and you want me to turn back around and finish this meeting? They're not my number one priority right at the moment, you are. Now tell me what's wrong." Mason placed the palm of his hand on her cheek and dragged his thumb up and down.
Even though the gesture made her feel a tiny bit better, it didn't seem to cheer her up.
"I'll just talk to you later Mas." Miya shook her head and tried to walk off, but Mason grabbed on her arm and pulled her in front of him.
"What I tell you about that?"
Miya looked up at Mason and played with her thumbs.
"You know I'm here when ever you need me most, I'll drop everything just to be by your side." Mason kissed her forehead.
Miya continued to look up at him but this time with a mug.
"But weren't you having fun and partying with bitches when I needed you to support me at court?" Miya arched her brow as she folded her arms over her chest.
"That's different." Mason shrugged and licked over his lips. His once caring demeanor was now nonchalant.
Miya eyes widened as she nodded her head.
"But yet you'll drop everything for me. Stop your bullshit Mason." Miya turned towards the couch and grabbed her long dark colored jeans jacket and placed it on. "I can't believe you would say that knowing you weren't there for me."
