Marcus/Mason
"Fellow businessmen and my beautiful daughter who is also a businesswoman. I would like to introduce a new member. Mr. Mason Price who is soon to be my son-in-law and hopefully a CEO of one of my greatest establishments."
Marcus arched his brow in confusion and looked over at Miya who seem to have a confused look on her face as well, clearly indicating that she didn't know what was going on. Marcus looked back at her father and continued to stare at him in confusion.
From the time they have met up until Marcus getting Mr. White out the way, David has never had open arms for Marcus. Never and now all of a sudden he was opening his business to him and calling him son-in-law. Something wasn't right and Marcus knew it. He been in the game too long to not know the signs.
He looked over at Miya to see her scoffed in annoyance as she lowered her head so that the brim of her hat covered her face.
"Would you like to say something, Miya?" Her father asked her.
Marcus sat back with his arms folded and watched as they talked back and forth in a room full of men.
"I would much rather discuss this family business in the privacy of your home and not in front of your business colleagues." She took the glass of champagne and pressed it to her lips.
"This is a business dinner Miya. I insist that you speak about whatever pertains to the business in front of everyone." He insisted.
"Yeah, a business dinner I had no acknowledgement of until you stood to your damn feet to toast. Furthermore, this is a family business that needs to be handled in a family matter. I will not discuss what I want to talk to you about in front of strangers that don't know a damn thing about shit. I will not speak on this anymore. So leave it alone." Miya took a sip out of her glass and placed it back on top of the table.
Marcus looked around the table to see one particular man staring at her. He sat up in his seat and folded his arms in a manner of him trying to control himself. Ever since they stepped foot in this room, he's been staring at Miya and it was starting to piss him off.
He felt a hand touch on his arm and looked over to see Miya looking up at him. He looked into her eyes and could see her bright eyes, not as bright.
Marcus knotted his brows together and tilted his head to the side, because he knew damn well he was not a room full of men that touched on his baby.
"Miya?" Marcus asked her as he slowly started to raise to his feet. He was about to set it off in this bitch.
"Is there a problem Mr. Price?" He looked over at her father and he could see the faint smirk on his face.
Marcus looked over at Miya again to see a wave of sickness spreading over her face. She quickly got up and walked out of the room, leaving him alone.
"This is professional right?" Marcus chuckled as he slowly sat back in his. "You know what, I'm not even about to say shit. Thank you for this opportunity." Marcus smirked back at him.
Since he wanted to fuck with him like that, Marcus was going to ruin his business, despite what Miya said. How dare another grown ass man have the audacity to have his daughter's boyfriend in a room full of niggas that wanted her and took advantage of her. So for this, Marcus was going to hit him where it hurts.
"Marcus, baby." He felt Miya touch his neck and it made him look up at her.
"We're leaving. I don't feel good."
Without a word Marcus got up from his seat and looked down at her.
"What's going on?" He asked her.
