Marcus/Mason
He laid his head back on the headrest as he relaxed. Mela speeding on the open road with the music blasting throughout the car sort of relaxed him. He could see how focus she was on getting to Jacob which made him want to beat his ass even more. Marcus leaned over to look at how fast she was going and arched both his brows in shock.
"You're going 105 baby." Marcus chuckled a little.
"Don't talk to me." She snapped at him. Her mind was racing and he could tell.
"You're snappy." He chuckled as he leaned his head back on the headrest and turned his head to the side to look at her as his tongue dragged across his bottom lip.
He watched as she quickly glanced at him but then glanced at him again, as if she did a double take.
"Stop looking at me like that." She mumbled as she sat upright in the driver seat.
"How am I looking at you?" He arched his brow at her.
"That's that look you give me when you think I'm doing something sexy or that look you give me when you want a quickie."
Marcus chuckled and tooted his lip up in the air as he shrugged his shoulders. "So now you saying I can't look at you?"
"I'm not saying that. I'm just saying stop giving me that look because my two weeks are not up yet and I will pull this car over on this highway and put this pussy all up on you."
Marcus looked over at her and smiled. He watched as she glanced at him then mugged.
"You're absolutely disgusting." She laughed a little before sitting straight up and squinting her eyes.
"Nobody told you to leave your glasses behind." Marcus got comfortable again and looked through the windshield.
"Shut up." She mumbled.
"At this light coming up, make a right and then when you get to the stop sign make a left and the penthouse should be right in front of you."
Mela nodded her head and the rest of the ride was silent as she quickly sped through the light and whipped the corner at the stop sign.
"Alright now, whipping this car all kind of way like you're in the Fast and the Furious." Marcus side eyed her. They didn't need to attract any kind of attention their way and the way she was driving was going to alert the cops and he didn't have time to deal with them.
"Shut up, you should have drove. I'm ready to get this over with so this nigga can know that he's not about to sit there and disrespect you in any kind of way." He looked over at Mela to see her shaking her head. "Nah, I refuse for my man to be disrespected any longer."
Marcus smirked at her as he nodded his head. Mela was definitely his rider, and that was all he need. She was way different from his ex, Nia , and it was a refresher. He felt like he could really be Marcus around her and because of that, he was going to show her who Marcus truly was. He was going to fully unleash and he prayed that Mela does not stop him. He really needed this, He needed to show Jacob that he wasn't the one to be fucked over.
Marcus wasted his time and money on a nigga that only turned around and did him dirty.
"Baby?" Marcus looked over at the driver side to see that Mela wasn't there. He nudged his brows together and looked to his right to see that his door was opened with Mela leaning against it. "Come on, you zone out."
Marcus licked on his bottom lip as he got out the car. She took a couple steps backwards allowing him to close the door behind him. He looked down at her and quickly kissed her lips before walking around her and towards the front of the building. He felt Mela walking closely behind as they both entered the building.
