Marcus

They were currently in the security room looking at the recording of the incident that occurred. From standing closely behind Miya, Marcus could feel the heat radiating from her body. He placed a hand on her shoulder and slowly rubbed in circular motions. He needed to at least calm her down in some sort of way. He has never experienced this kind of anger from her and was trying everything to keep her sane.

"There, that's who shot up the first level." The security officer said as he paused the video.

Marcus and Miya both leaned in to look at the screen and that's when his heart dropped.

It was his very own 'brother', Bruce and a couple of niggas that Marcus did not recall with Jacob standing right behind them.

Marcus looked down at Miya to see her body stiffened.

"Miya?"

No answer.

"Mela?" He tried as he stepped aside to look at her.

Still no answer.

"Baby?" Marcus shook her.

"Hm?" She slowly looked at him and just like their trip, one eye was clouded and the other was normal.

Her face was cold and emotionless. "Where."

"Huh?" Marcus nudged his brows in confusion. The 'where' caught him off guard and confused him.

"Where do they go after doing shit like this Marcus." Her voice was cold and harsh. She meant business at the moment and Marcus dared not to play with her.

"Either the junk yard or the club." Marcus licked on his lips and sighed heavily. He just knew some shit was going to go down.

"What time is it?" She asked him.

Marcus looked at his watch and licked on his lips again. "Almost close to eight."

"So, their getting ready to go to the club?" She asked him.

"Mhm." Marcus nodded.

"Great." She turned towards the guard and whispered in his ear before leaving.

Marcus looked at her and then looked at the guard. "Is there anyway we can track down anything suspicious? Like any emails, any calls?"

"Most definitely, it's already being handled Mr. Price."

"Cool." Marcus nodded his head and left the room. He looked around the hall to see Miya talking to her dad, who clearly looked pissed as well.

Marcus slowly walked up to them but still stayed his distance so that they could handle their business in private.

"Marcus come here." He heard Miya say to him.

Marcus walked over to Miya and stood by her side.

"You do understand that one of your niggas are going to die tonight, clear?" David said towards him. His voice was cold as well with the look of death in his eyes and Marcus just knew that he wasn't himself as well.

"You got to do what you got to do." Marcus looked towards him. "She could have been walking around the first floor and doing anything of the sort on the first floor and could have got struck. They have to learn and they got to learn the hard way." Marcus shrugged.

"I'm glad you understand Mason. My princess could have got hit, but you know" He chuckled. "I find it oddly funny how you left with her and just thirty minutes later the place is being shot up-."
