Miya
"Mi, what's wrong?"
Miya and Princess were now at Princess apartment. The block party died a few hours after twelve. She understood that majority of the street needed to go to bed for church or work in the morning and the loud music was not going to help them rest.
She didn't realize she zoned off until Princess spoke about it. Miya wiped her face and leaned her body against the door frame of her room and shook her head.
"It's nothing you should be concerned about." Miya sat on the edge of Princess bed and stared at the wall. The thought of Mason betraying her kept coming back to her. No matter how far she pushed it to the back of her mind.
When she watched him walk down the stairs with that red haired girl, she snapped. She didn't get why would Mason do that, when he was the one in the wrong from the beginning. First he didn't stick up for her when Jacob was bad mouthing her, and when she walked out of the restaurant he didn't even run after her.
Miya really wanted answers when she made him promise her that he would protect her. She didn't get it, it confused the hell out of her.
"I know when somethings wrong with you Mi. I just want to know if you're okay." Miya felt princess presence behind her.
"I'm fine." Miya looked back with a small smile.
"Now stop lying. You just shut down on me. You were excited to come back here, but now your sitting there depressed. Is it a boyfriend? Are you afraid that he might find out that your about to cheat on him?" Princess sat beside her.
Miya looked at her confused and scuffed.
"We gonna fuck or what?" Miya felt as though it wasn't any of her business. She came here for one thing and one thing only. She didn't come here to talk about what's going on in her life. That's why she have a therapist, but she barely tell them anything.
"No, you're going to tell me what's wrong or you won't get anything." Princess arched her brow.
"Alright I'm leaving." Miya stood to her feet and grabbed her keys.
"But I missed you. Why would you leave when I'm only trying to help?" Princess quickly stood to her feet and grabbed on Miyas wrist.
"I don't need help. Look I'm honestly not in the mood anymore. I'm just going to leave." Miya wiggled her wrist from Princess grip and walked towards the front door.
Princess sighed heavily and stomped her feet.
"Miya its really not that serious." She called out.
"You acting like a two year old is not serious. I'll hit you up later." Miya mugged back at her as she walked out the front door.
Because princess would cause a scene outside, Miya quickly got inside of her car. She started it, and drove out of the parking lot.
On the drive home, Miya felt herself losing interest in everything. She saw every in a dull moment. All she wanted to do was take her pills and fall asleep.
Getting home quicker than expected. Miya opened the front door to see David sitting on the couch with a worried look on his face. They both looked at each other as Miya closed the door behind her.
David stood to his feet and marched towards her. His mood switched like a light switch. She could tell that David was upset by the way his face was set.
"Are you serious Miya? You've been gone all day and night. I know your grown, but Miya what if something had happen to you with your broke up arm? Then all the blame would be thrown on me because I'm basically the one watching you."
