Marcus/Mason
New York
Two weeks later

He sat and observed Mr. White from the back of the coffee shop. It was currently six twenty in the morning and Mr. White was starting his day at the local coffee shop he owned across town. A small little thing but busy and relaxing.

Marcus squinted his eyes a little to get a better look at Mr. White. Marcus rolled his eyes in disgust as he watched the old man flirt with the young cashier as he waited for his coffee. The girl looked to be no older than seventeen. She was uncomfortable around Mr. White and Marcus could tell. The way her body would tense up, the way her words stammered when he was around, her hands would get all fidgety and when he left the girl always breathed out a sigh of relief. A clear indication that she was afraid.

Marcus absolutely hated predators and Mr. White was indeed one of them.

Marcus looked down at his watch and then back at Mr.White. At exactly six twenty-five Mr. white was handed his coffee. He flirted with the young cashier again before making his exited.

The young girl breathed out a shaky sigh of relief and walked away from the register leaving her other costumers.

Shaking his head Marcus stood to his feet and grabbed the small cup of coffee he ordered when he first walked in and walked out of the coffee shop. Marcus looked down the street to see that Mr. White was casually getting in the backseat of his Bentley. The car soon drove off allowing Marcus to get inside of his Ram Dodge truck. He started the truck and followed Mr. Whites car, making sure that he was at least four cars behind.

In these two weeks Marcus knew everything about Mr. White and what he did from sun up to sun down. Marcus knew every little aspect of Mr. Whites life from before he started his business up until now. Mr.White was always a privilege little boy with rich parents that done any and everything for him up until their death. His parents died a year before he was able to open his business. Cause of death was an accidental house fire. From being in the game for so long Marcus knew that their death wasn't an accident. Marcus knew that Mr. White hired someone to kill off his parents to get their insurance money. It was way too obvious. There was little gaps in the police report that should have been red flags but when a person have money they can get away with anything.

Marcus scoffed. Everything about Mr. White made his skin crawl. Mugging in disgust, Marcus turned into the parking garage and parked into an empty space ten cars down from where Mr. Whites personal driver parked.

Marcus watched as he got out of the car sipping on his coffee. He kept and eye on him until both him and his personal driver walked inside of the building. Marcus cut off the trunk and got comfortable. He knew that Mr. White always left to go get his lunch himself from Panera bread around twelve-thirty or one so until then, Marcus was going to relax his nerves and maybe take a quick little nap.

Cutting the car off he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He slightly leaned up and slipped the phone out to see Miya's beautiful self on his screen. Marcus smiled lightly and answered her call, immediately putting her on speaker.

"Baby I can't sleep and it's damn near four o'clock in the morning." She whined through the phone.

"How long have you been in bed?" He asked her.

"Since ten. I'm extremely tired and I can't sleep. I need you here with me." She continued to whine.

"I'll be back to you in the next two to three weeks ma." Marcus chuckled.

"No. I need you now!" She yelled at him. "When are you coming home?" He could hear her sniff.

"Soon Miya. I'm working things out now. I should be leaving here in a couple days." He sighed heavily.
