Chapter 12.
“Why are you here?” I asked. Then Selena came out from behind the tree. “I want to apologize.” Jake said. “Well you hurt me so bad that I don’t want to see you ever again.” I said walking back into the house. But he grabbed my arm. “Get your hands off of me.” I said. “Just listen to me. I made a mistake.” Jake said. “You made a few and I could never forgive you. You hurt me way to many times and now I am living my life being happy with who is still in my life and who isn’t.” I sad. “Why are you being a bitch? I apologized.” Jake said. “Why am I being a bitch? Maybe because you were being an ass. And you need to leave.” I said. Right then Selena slapped me across the face. “You bitch.” She said. “You should watch it.” I said. “Get a life and what did I say to go back to your own planet. Or you could just leave and find a place where we would never see you again.” Selena said. I ran down the street and just kept running until I couldn’t breathe anymore. I sat on the curb and lied my head in my lap. With my legs scrunched up. “What are you doing?” A person asked from behind me. I looked and it was Brad. “Hey. It was Jake and Selena again.” I said. “Where are they now?” Brad asked. “I don’t know. The last time I saw them they were at the house.” I said. While brad sat down beside me and put his arm around me. “What happened?” he asked. I told him the whole story and he just kept comforting me until I finished. “They need to leave you alone.” He said. “They don’t understand but I need to find somewhere else to go.” I said. “No. you will fight and they will leave.” Brad said. “Ok.” I said. We headed back home and curled up together on the couch to finish our movie. The Brad said he was going to go out. So I went to bed and was asleep by the time Brad actually got home.
I woke up feeling so tired and wondering if Brad came home last night. I walked into his room but he wasn’t there. So I walked down stairs and found him icing his eye. “What happened?” I asked. “I beat up Jake.” He said. “Why?” I asked. “Because he hurt you. And they are going to leave you alone now.” brad said. “Thank you. Look at me.” I said wanting to look how bad it is. Trust me it looked bad. It was swollen shut and had a black bruise. “Oh my gosh.” I said. “It’s not that bad.” Brad said. “Yes it is.” I said. I walked over to Brad and put my cold hands on his face. He flinched back. “Sorry.” I said. “It’s ok.” He said. I leaned down and gave him a big kiss while he pulled me closer to him after he stood up. We stood like that or a while until I pulled away and we stopped kissing. “I love you.” I said. “I love you to.” Brad said. I couldn’t believe that Brad did that for me. He was the sweetest guy I knew. I actually wanted to marry this guy. Then suddenly something happened. Brad knelt down on one knee pulled out a box and asked. “Will you marry. I want to love you forever and never let you go.” The ring was a nice ring with two hearts connected and around the band it said. “I love you. Always and forever.” It was so beautiful. “Yes. I love you and I will forever.” I said. He got up spun me around in a circle with my feet of the ground and when he put me back onto the ground he gave me a kiss. “I got you these magazines so you can start on the planning. “Want to pick the place?” I asked. “Why don’t we have it here?” Brad asked. “Ok. Now flower?” I asked. “White and red roses. And red velvet cake. Your favourite.” He said. “Ok. What day?” I asked while we sat down at the kitchen table with magazines out. “Next weekend?” Brad asked. “Great. I will have my bridal party tomorrow. And you can have your bachelor party the night before and I will have mine.” I said. “Sounds great.” Brad said. We sat there for a while called all our friends and family also the pastor. (I don’t know what the wedding guy is called.) And we got our cake ordered, my dress, and Brad’s tux. I got everything ready for tomorrow. And Brad was going to stay and be at the party as well. When it was five thirty I made dinner we saved some for my parents and then watched T.V for a bit. I went to bed pretty early. And woke up feeling excited. I got dressed in a strapless dress that was purple and got ready. People were already arriving when I was finished getting ready but before I could leave my room brad walked in. “Hey beautiful.” he said. “Hey. Are you ready?” I asked. “Yeah. You?” He asked. “Yup. Lets go.” I said. We looped arms and walked down stairs into the living room where everyone was sitting. Everyone cheered when we entered the guitar and I started to feel red and very nervous. Star ran towards me and said. “I love you guys. I’m so glad you found your true love.” Thanks.” I said. And Brad nodded. We sat down on the love seat. We sat and I opened all the girls gifts. I didn’t get lingerie because I didn’t want things like that so I got a lot of shoes and makeup anything a girl would actually want. It ended around three so Brad, Star, and I went out for dinner. “So what happened with you two?” I asked. “Nothing.” They said at the same time. “Guys we are best friends.” I said. “Brad wanted you.” Star said. I sensed that they didn’t want to talk about it so I dropped the subject. “How’s Jake?” I asked. “Fine.” Star said. We got to the restraunt and I pulled Star away. “I’ll be in in a minute.” I said to Brad. “What is wrong?” I asked. “I loved him. And he turned on me and said that he wanted you instead.” Star said. “I’m sorry. I didn’t know. He just said you guys had your differences.” I said. “Yeah. To many.” Star said. I pulled her into a hug and then we went into the restraunt to eat. After an hour of staying in the restraunt we decided to head home. I had to get a lot of sleep because the wedding is coming up soon. I went down stairs to fin d that Brad and Star were still sleeping so I wrote them a note it said.
