4 years later

I flipped the pancake in the pan. Suddenly two arms embraced my body and pulled me backwards. I smiled and closed my eyes. The heat of his body warmed up my back through the shirt. "Good morning." He said with his sleepy, deep voice. I turned around. "Good morning Joji." I stood on my tiptoes and gave him a kiss. His hands snaked under his oversized shirt that I was wearing and stroke my back. Joji broke the kiss and sat down on the table. I finished cooking the pancake, placed it on top of the other ones and sat down on the chair infront of him. We both started eating. It has been almost 4 years since I met him and I cannot describe how happy I was as we moved together in our new house. I looked at Joji while taking a sip out of my coffee mug. His hair was messy as always and he let his beard grow into a designer stubble. As he finished he stood up and put his dishes into the sink. "I hve to get ready now." He said and walked through the kitchen door. "Where are you going?" I shouted and started to put the dishes into the dishwasher. "Recording. I already told you babe." I rolled my eyes and continued what I was doing. Joji was really busy with recording and filming but I was still really happy for him. He was enjoying the thing that he was doing. After I cleaned up the kitchen I walked into the bedroom. Joji brushed his hair back and put on his baseball cap. "I will be back in a few hours. We can do something together if you don't have to work today." He grabbed my hands and looked into my eyes. "I'm free today." I said and smiled. He nodded, gave me a kiss and disappeared through the door. I sat down on the bed and thought about something I could do. I grabbed a blank paper ,a pencil, sat down infront of my desk and turned the volume of Joji's music up.

After two hours of drawing some stuff, framing it and hanging it in our living room my phone ringed.
"Hey baby what are you doing?" I climed off the chair and walked backwards. "Decorating our living room. What about you?" I looked at the wall and smiled. "We are finished for today. Let's see a movie together what do you say?" Joji said quickly. Why did it sound like he was nervous? "Yeah sure. Should I cook something or are we going to get something?"
"We can get pizza. Just be ready in 20 minutes." I exhaled heavily. "You know that I can't get ready in..." I was whining but before I could finish my sentence Joji spoke up. "No make-up beautiful. Please." I smiled and rolled my eyes. "I love you. Remeber 20 minutes or we will be late for the movie." With these words he hung up. I walked to my closet and pulled out some clothes. Blue ripped jeans, a frosted pink shirt and a black cardigan. I didn't listen to Joji and did a natural look on my face. After 20 minutes I walked out of the house and closed the door behind my back. Joji arrived after 4 minutes and I stepped into his car. He greeted me with a kiss. "Which movie should we see?" I raised my eyebrows. "Hm. I don't know what do you say?" Joji brushed his hair back. "Fast and Furious is pretty good. Nick told me." I shrugged my shoulders. "Yeah sounds good. Fast cars and stuff."

As we arrived at the cinema we both stepped out of the car and walked in. Joji grabbed my hand and crossed his fingers with mine. As we queued up for the tickets I let my gaze wander all over the place. Suddenly Joji pulled me closer to him and looked at someone. What was he doing? Finally he lowered his grip and looked at me. "What was that for?" I asked him. "You know I'm selfish. Only I can bless my eyes with looking at you." He turned around to pay our tickets. I had to think about this sentence and suddenly a smile flitted over my face. 'Cheesy' I said in my mind and bit my lip. Joji grabbed my hand and we walked upstairs and got us some popcorn. The movie started and I rested my hand on Joji's shoulder. Suddenly my eyelids got heavy and I closed my eyes.

"Y/n wake up." I opened my eyes and saw Joji. "Where are we?" I asked and sat upright. "In the cinema. You dozed off." He shook his head lightly and I looked around. I could see people leaving the theater. I slept the whole time? I started to laugh. "Dude I deadass didn't even saw Vin Diesel once." Joji joined my laughter. "Come on let's get something to eat." We decided to eat in a japanese restaurant instead of pizza. My stomach was growling already and when the sushi got brought to our table my mouth started watering. I still wasn't a pro in using chopsticks, they always slipped out of my finger or I would get a really bad cramp from it. As the sushi fell back on the plate Joji laughed. "What's so funny faggot?" I asked him and tried to pick it up again. He grabbed my hand. "Put this between your thumb and index finger. Now hold the other one like so." I did what he said and suddenly it got really easy to eat with them. "Wow. Thanks jap." I smiled and gave him a kiss on his jawline. We finished our meal, Joji paid the bill and we walked out of the restaurant. The sun was gone already and stars started to show to advantage. The radio played some chill beats quietly and I leaned my head back. Joji held my hand .He kept stroking the back of my hand with his thumb. As I thought that he was driving us home he stopped at the brooklyn bridge. "What are we doing?" I asked him. Joji stepped out of he car without saying anything. With a confused look I also got out of the car and walked to him. "Are you going to pick up someone?" I asked and started to feel how cold it got. My legs started to shake and I crossed my arms infront of my chest. Joji took of his jacket and handed it to me. "No I just wanted to spend a little bit time with you here." Joji reached out for my hand. The warmth of his hand warmed up my whole body. We walked down the alley. "Remember the time we met?" Joji asked and I laughed. "The first or second time we first met." Joji smiled. "The first imaginary one." I nodded. We have actually never talked about the coma thing. We sat down on the bench where he handed me the cigarette once. "You know y/n I believe in miracles." He pulled out a cigarette and lit it up. "And I believe in that god wanted us to meet. That's why he made us live the same dream." I looked up at him and he held something infront of my face. A cigarette. "Joji you know I don't smoke." I smiled. "You don't have to just keep it." Those weren't the exact words like the first time we sat here but it still made my heart beat faster. I took the cigarette out of his hand and put it in my bag. Joji finished smoking and looked at me. "I also have something else for you y/n." He said and stood up. "Close your eyes." He said and I did exactly what he said. Suddenly he took my hand and put something around my right ring finger. I knitted my eyebrows. 'Wrong finger' I kept thinking and my stomach cramped together. I slowly opened my eyes and all I saw was a ring pop around my finger. I exhaled heavily. Joji started to chuckle and I looked at him. "You're a jerk you know that right." I said smiling and didn't know how to feel. Mixed emotions overcame me but after a couple of seconds I started to laugh. "You're so stupid." I said laughing and looked at the ring pop. "Am I?" Joji asked quietly. I looked at him. Joji kneed infront of me and let his hand wander to his pocket. "Y/n..."
