Marie put the last clip in my hair and looked at me. "You're unbelievably beautiful y/n. I'm jealous." I chuckled. "Don't be stupid." With one step I turned around and stood in front of the mirror. The white of the dress made my eyes appear darker but I was okay with it. Today was the day. The day of putting two lives together. Its like a combination of two ingrediens in a cake. Like... like strawberry cheesecake. Strawberry and cheese even though it is not even cheese. Anyways the strawberry and cheese are the people and together they make a cake aka the life they live together. Sometimes it can burn but it will taste sweet anyways. That was metaphorically stupid as fuck I will never try to be John Green again. All in all I am getting married today.

Throwback to Joji's proposal

"...spend the rest of your life with me failing at eating sushi and sleeping in movies together." Joji pulled a small silver shimmering thing out of his pocket. I widened my eyes as I realized that it was a ring. His black eyes were shining, looking at me deeply with fear and hope. My body was like frozen all I could do was looking at the ring. "Y/n listen." Joji took my hand in his. "It has been many times were I tried to love and get love." He stopped and looked down. I could feel how his hand started to sweat. "And I failed everytime and I thought it was impossible. But you changed it. You changed everything in my live... in a positive way of course." Now he looked up at me his eyes were glassy. Mine also started to fill up with tears. "Y/n will you... marry me?" My breath got heavy. Joji held the ring infront of me and waited for an answer. I took a deep breath and one tear started to roll down my face. "Yes." I said quickly and a river of tears followed the dripping tear. Joji's face got covered in a big smile. He took my ring finger and put the ring on. As it was done I looked at my finger. It was unbelievably beautiful. My gaze went up to his face. It wouldn't be a lie if I would say, that he has never been this happy. I took his face in my hand and leaned forward for a kiss. As my lips met his soft and smooth ones my heart started to beat faster and faster. Joji stood up slowly without breaking the kiss. He wrapped his arms around my waist. This might be the best day of my life. His childish behaviour with the ring pop and the way he proposed to me was so sweet and thoughtful, not cliché like on the beach or in the mall infront of everybody. He knows that the smallest and silliest things in life make me happier than anything expensive or big. Joji broke the kiss and wiped away a tear. Was he crying? He smiled, looked up and turned around. "She said yes." He said to the few people who walked pass us. "She said yes!" Now he was shouting. My face started to get red but it made me extremely happy to see him happy. Suddenly a small crowd of people stopped and started to clap. I covered my face and laughed. Is this reality? Because it is too wonderful to be true. A white haired man took Joji's hand and shook it. "Congratulations my man." He said and tapped Joji's shoulder. Joji turned around and planted a warm kiss on my forehead. "I love you." He said and smiled. The crowd started to clap and whistle. "I love you too Joji." I said and looked into the black eyes, that teached me how love really feels.

"How do I look?" Marie sat down on the bed and put her shoes on. "As always enviable y/n. 5 minutes left than we have to leave for the entrance." My heart started to beat faster. Joji's family is going to be there and so many other people. Marie took my hand. We both walked out of the room and got into the big, white, decorated rover. My stomach started to cramp together and a sudden rush overcame me. I was so excited my chest already hurted. As we arrived my dad was already waiting for me outside. I stepped out of the car slowly and as my gaze met his he knitted his eyebrows and looked to the ground quickly. I walked towards him and took his hand. My dad lifted his head and his eyes were glassy. "Beautiful." He said quickly. I wrapped my arms around him. "Still your little baby." I whispered. "Are you ready?" He wiped the tears away and I nodded. The music started to play, I grabbed my dads arm and we slowly started to walk inside.

Joji's POV

My hands were shaking. The sitting crowd infront of us looked at me and it made me really nervous. Tanner tapped my back lightly. "Everything is cool man." He whispered. I couldn't help the shaking hands but it made me feel a little bit better. Suddenly the music started to play. A cold shiver went down my spine and then I saw her. Her arm around her dads. The white beautiful dress. Her face was covered with the veil. I looked down immediately as the first tear started to roll down. She's so beautiful I can't believe that she will be mine. Every step she got closer to me made my stomach cramp together because of excitement. Tanner gave me a small push and I stepped infront of y/n. I was able to see the big smile through the veil. She looked at me with her big E/C eyes. "Throughout this ceremony, bride y/n s/n and groom George Miller have vowed to be loyal and loving towards each other." My face got covered in a big smile. "The both of them want to show the world their love by sharing the same surname and by the giving and receiving of rings. George Miller do you promise to keep your love for y/n until death tears your bond apart?" I took a deep breath. "Yes I do." I said and did my best to hold the tears back. "Y/n s/n do you promise to keep your love for George until death tears your bond apart?" My heart beat against my chest. "Yes. Yes I do." Silence filled the atmosphere for a second. "Therefore I have the honor to pronounce you two as husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride!" With shaking hands I grabbed the veil and put it over her head. I leaned forward for a kiss. Her lips touched mine and the crowd started to clap. We have kissed a million times already but that one was different. It felt like it was a recognition that she was mine and that forever.

Reader POV:

We broke the kiss and looked into each others eyes. His sparkled like a million stars in a pitch black sky. "I... I have some things to tell y/n." Joji stuttered a little bit and started to fumble in his pocket. He pulled out a small folded paper and opened it. With a deep breath he started to read it out loud. "Y/n the love of my life and from now on my bride." A warm feeling covered my whole body. "The first time we 'met' wasn't perfect you know that." He smiled shyly and I had flashbacks of our first imaginary meeting. Him with egg yolk running down his left cheek. A smile flitted over my lips. "Back then we were strangers and now I have the honor to call you my wife. I promise you that I will love you every second of my life. I promise that I will listen to you everyday and I promise that I will fondle your hair and back if you ever can't sleep." Now he looked up and turned his head to the crowd. "I also promise your parents that I will take care of you and treat you right." Now back to me" Y/n I love you and I will make sure it will last forever." The crowd started to clap wildly again. "I love you too." I said quietly, bit my bottom lip smiled.

Deffo gonna continue. Love you guys sm ❤️
