Having a blast (Junkrat x Roadhog!)

Part 17: barbecue

Junkrat-
Ok so today was the barbecue and just about everyone was going, soldier even offered to grill all the meat. I mean he's a pro griller so how could I not except that. Mercy also agreed to get all the decorations set up, so that was very nice. I finished pouring chips into bowls and moved onto the drinks. After that people started to show up. Soldier had started up the grill and that good barbecue smell was in the air. The there was roadhog he motioned me over to somewhere private."what's the barbecue for?" He asked,"I mean it's nice of you but why?". I took a big sip out of my drink,"I think you know why".
Everyone had came and it was awesome. I don't think anyone wasn't having a good time. Lena walked up to me,"hey jamie how's it goin!" She smiled and took another big chug of beer. I was shocked it seemed like she was getting drunk. "Hey Lena the party's going great, I hope your having a nice time mate!" I replied. It wasn't just Lena that was getting drunk, just about everyone had a little too much to drink and it was starting to show. Mccree has been a tough kind of guy but I know he isn't that bold enough to make a move on hanzo, but drunk mccree is. It was pretty obvious too. He was getting closer to him and laughed at everyone he said even if it wasn't a joke. Even though soldier was grilling it looked as if he was having a blast. He was flipping everything into the air and catching it, it was really entertaining to watch. I'm mean yes I was having fun but I was having a melt down on the inside. I was so goddamn nervous about spilling it out but I kept my calm.. or at least tried to. It turned out the more nervous I got the more beer I drank, I was at least on my third bottle." Alright guys everything's ready!" Soldier yelled. Everyone immediately grabbed paper plates and headed to the grill. I had gotten a burger, chips, and salad. It was pretty good. Soldier didn't eat much but it did look like he was really proud of his work. This barbecue seemed too good to be true, nothing in my life goes this perfect for this long. My head started to hurt like crazy. I got away from everyone and sat down near the fire place. I closed my eyes.....

Roadhog-
I had to admit, Jamie's barbecue was pretty awesome. Everyone sat around a table munching down their meals, connecting and socializing. It sorta felt like everyone was family and that was pretty cool. I caught jamie heading to the fire place and sitting down. I decided to give him a little break and finish up my food before I talked to him. I tried to eat my meal slowly so he was able to have more of a rest. I got a bottle of water and went to the fire place, I sat down next to him. He looked at me," hoggy mate I think *hiccup* I might be drunk."he could barely speak that sentence well."here drink this water it might help. He took it from my hands and drunk all of witching a few seconds. He threw the bottle behind him," thanks mate that really did help, but uh I'm gonna try to lay down and-". I did something that I would never regret. I took my mask enough to be above my nose, I pulled jamie close to me and kissed him. His eyes widened but then relaxed. "Whoo!" Lena yelled from behind us. We turned and saw her and everyone else looking at us. "Your so goddamn cute when your drunk" I told him, he giggled and pulled me for another kiss and I did not object. I think we spent the next hour or so just sitting in front of the fire, jamie balled up right next to me. I'm glad to see he's finally happy."hog mate did I ever tell you that I love you" he said still looking straight into the fire," of course, and I do too". I couldn't see but it looked like he was blushing, I smiled and wrapped my arm around him.

Junkrat-
When it got darker and colder we all got closer and closer to the fire place, Hana had brought marshmallows to make s'mores and stuff. Roadhog started making s'mores right away but I just leaned up against him and relaxed. With all the troubles I've been having this was definitely a day that I could relax. The comfort of hog and the fire made me sleepy and before do knew it I was long gone.
I woke up in my bed. Hog must've put me in bed here. I had been notified that we were all to head to the shooting range after breakfast. So I put my training gear on and went for some food. When I entered the room everyone was in a big rush speed walking and eating their breakfast really fast. I however took it slow, drinking coffee and a bagel. As I was eating mercy sat in a seat in front of me,"ey Sheila" I said taking adult of my coffee."hello Jamison" she replied but nothing happened for awhile after she spoke. "Uh Jamison I just wanted to know how long you've been in a relationship with roadhog?". I chuckled at the question,"mate we've been together since Christmas Day." She nodded,"well congratulations on your relationship" she stood up to get a refill of her coffee. I took the chance to get my equipment after that. My launcher needed fixing and we had to be a the shooting range in an hour. Luckily with one prosthetic arm things were able to go by quickly. Soon enough we were all called in, I grabbed my weapons and headed out to the range. It was pretty easy, since my choice of weapon was a grenade launcher all the targets blew off the field. They made me go back to a pistol but I still did amazing. I never usually did this good with a pistol. Even when we moved to hand to hand combat I killed it. What's with me today.
