"In more recent news a girl by the name of Dalton Hess has disappeared from her hospital room. She's 29 years old and works at Office and XCO. If anyone sees her, please report so immediately to the police. Here is a picture of her most recent id," the news reporter Jake said. It was a day after she went missing, Caleb thought to himself. Caleb knew that the news reporter was hiding something. Since Dalton was on the criminal list ranking at number 7. Did the society not know about that list? Caleb needed to know the truth of who killed Dalton Hess, but how would he do so? Caleb figured that this killer must've known that Dalton is in the game. Caleb's cell phone then suddenly started ringing. He quickly grabbed it out of his pocket.
"Yello?" Caleb said.
"Eyy my good ol' buddy Caleb, where are you?" Caleb recognized this voice. It was his old friend, Justin Isaac.
"I'm in a hospital right now. I got injured recently so I'm trying to heal up. What have you been up to recently Justin?" Caleb asked.
"God I've been having so much fun you know with this detective work. Hey speaking of detective work, just wanted to ask you if you saw Dalton? I mean from one of the doctors I heard that you were her friend," Justin said.
"Oh well no, I didn't see her, but I think she passed, so there is no purpose in searching for her," Caleb said.
"What? How could she be dead there was no evidence anywhere at the scene that she could be dead," Justin replied. Caleb thought that even if Justin was in the game, he'd already know Caleb was too right? So, why not just tell him that Dalton's phone breaking is what caused her death? No, Caleb would sound crazy. Plus, what if Dalton really did just go missing? But a dart through her phone? Caleb had to at least confirm that she was dead. And he knew exactly how.
"Hey Justin, I'm going to call you back okay buddy?" Caleb said.
"Well okay Caleb," Justin said. Caleb then hung up the call and went to the app on his phone. He pressed the button that said call meeting and suddenly he was back in the pedestal room. The pedestal lights 2, 8, 9, 10, and 11 were all out.
"Ooh a new death how interesting," Number 6 said looking at number 9's light.
"Got anything to say about that number 7?" Number 16 asked. Number 7 gulped.
"Why should I?" Number 7 replied.
"Didn't you love her so much? So where's that affection huh?" Number 16 asked. Number 7 bit his lip.
"I'm being played. This whole thing is a joke," Number 7 said.
"Hm, what do you mean?" Number 14 asked.
"My diary it said that I killed her, but I swear I didn't. I was passed out sure, but I don't think I slept walk to her hospital room and killed her! I wouldn't no no no!" Number 7 yelled.
"Ohoho," Number 6 laughed.
"God, my diary is broken! It's broken it really is! Fix it now fix it God! God dammit fix it!" Number 7 cried. He fell to the podium.
"Your diary is not broken it is perfectly fine and working. Remember the others have their ability too," the God, Angela, stated.
"If you really want the truth number 7 I killed her," Number 14 said.
"You bastard!" Number 7.
"A lie is more easily told then a truth. But me being the most honest man here I shall suck up and tell you the truth. I killed Dalton Hess, number 9," Number 16 said.
"You did? I'll ki-" Number 7 paused. He breathed heavily, trying to control himself. "I'll kill you number 4."
"Woah woah me? Excuse you? How'd I get brought into this?" Number 4, Jacob, asked.
