Jeff dropped the phone in his hand as his body dropped to the floor. Blood leaked onto the forest floor and a man and the man adjusted his beanie holding an unlit cigarette.

"Y...o..u," Jeff said turning his head toward the man standing above him.

"Shot you in the chest? Yeah, surprised your friend didn't give you a bulletproof vest," the man said lighting the cigarette.

"S..h..ut it," Jeff said. Jeff coughed up blood and took his final breath. The man in the beanie walked away with a chuckle smoking his cigarette.

...

"I see the future I know everything that's going to happen," Sara said. "Why do you think I'm always there when something happens?"

"Fair point," Caleb said.

"Gotta go now, places to be," Sara said disappearing into thin air. Caleb stood there for a few seconds and then entered his dorm room. He started scrolling through his phone until he heard a quiet voice.

"Hello?" Caleb put his phone down and looked around the room. Caleb then walked around the room and a person quickly sprinted past Caleb. "Hey!" The person grabbed Caleb's phone and ran out the door. Caleb chased the man until they arrived at an alleyway. "Give me my phone back!"

"I will I will, but you have to first answer 5 questions truthfully and then complete a task for me," the man said.

"Why would I do that? I've got you cornered," Caleb replied.

"Yeah, but if I break your phone you die so listen up," the man said. "First off, what is your name."

"Caleb Walker."

"Thought so, how old are you?" the man asked.

"19 years old."

"What school do you go to?"

"UC Davis."

"Who have you killed?"

"No one."

"Who are you working with?"

"Why would I tell you?"

"It's your life on the line buddy. If you want I could just kill your name. Just say their numbers if you're that protective of them."

"3, 4, 5, and 11. I was working with 8, but he passed," Caleb said resistantly. The man glanced at his phone.

"Okay you pass, so know to get your phone back listen to the task I'm about to tell you," the man said.

"I will do whatever you want, just please tell me your name or diary number or something," Caleb said.

"My diary number," the man said laughing tipping his fedora. "I'm number 12 you see. Now listen closely kid. I need you to get my friend back and I'll trade him for your phone. I can't do it myself, because it's too risky and I'd get caught. So I need you to get him for me. He's my best friend."

"What's his name? Where is he?" Caleb asked.

"His name is Robb, spelled with 2 b's. He's 35 years old and he's been arrested for attempted murder. He's at the San Francisco County Jail, 425 7th St, San Francisco, CA 94103 is the address. I memorized it 1,000 times he somehow always ends up in that shithole. Please please, just save him. If you do I'll give you your phone and I won't kill you," number 12 said. He seemed desperate, but why did he care so much? Caleb nodded his head.

"I'll go right now," Caleb said.

"Really?" number 12 asked.

"He seems very important to you. So I'll go, if I asked someone to save my best friend I'd want them to do it as quickly as possible. So I'll go right now," Caleb said. Number 12 looked at his phone again and smiled. He walked over to Caleb and handed him Caleb's phone.
