A week later...
"The game is going very slow since Cameron's death my God," the hologram version of Sara said.
"It's classified as a missing person right now, the other diary holders don't know if he's dead or not besides 14 and 16," Angela replied.
"Why has no one called a meeting yet though?" Sara asked.
"I don't think most of them want to stress about it," Angela said.
"Well someone is about to call a meeting now," Sara said looking down. Suddenly all the podiums started to reappear in the empty space and so did all the alive diary holders. Number 2's, number 8's, number 9's, number 10's, number 11's, number 12's, and number 13's lights were all out.
"Why is number 4 still present?" Number 16 said looking at number 4.
"Because I'm alive?" Number 4 said. Number 16 turned to number 14.
"Explain yourself number 14," Number 16 said.
"Jeez give me a break I was too busy setting up stuff for you," Number 14 said.
"And?" Number 16 said.
"Let's discuss it elsewhere," Number 14 replied.
"Number 12, died?" Caleb whispered.
"That's right number 1 and can you ever guess who killed him?" Number 16 said.
"Oh please tell," Number 3 said.
"It was number 15 of course," Number 16 said.
"I had a burning passion for that fuck Cameron," Number 15 said crossing his arms.
"By the way number 7 how is your little ol' diary doing?" Number 16 asked. Number 7 was silent.
"Can you stop taunting him? It's honestly infuriating," Number 3 said.
"Infuriating?" Number 16 asked.
"You're so cocky and treat number 7 like shit, but you need him. It's number one, myself, number 4, number 5 against you, number 15, and number 16. Number 6 and number 7 are just stand bys and you need them for numbers," Number 3 said. Number 16 laughed.
"Okay number 3 I guess you're right," Number 16 said still laughing.
"Why are you laughing?" Caleb asked.
"I have complete control of this game! You have nothing!" Number 16 said laughing. Angela looked over at number 14 who was grasping their fist. Numbers started to leave the podium room until number 14 was the only one left.
"God will you give me a sign?" Number 14 said looking at Angela.
"Interference of the game by me would be unfair. You must do this on your own," Angela said. Number 14 sighed and left the podium room and the podiums started to disappear.
"You know the saying," Sara said.
"A king can only be defeated when it is trapped. Not by one pawn, the king can easily defeat that. But the king depends on others as it can only move one space. A constant battle between black and white, wrong and right and in this game only one can win there is no such thing as a draw," Angela said.
"That's the one," Sara said.
...
A person walked into their house and slammed the door. They fell on the ground and started to cry. Sara teleported next to them.
"Conflicted again ey flowery? Like that flowery? It's a nickname I gave you," Sara said laughing.
"I want to turn the plan against Ethan," the person said getting up and wiping their tears away.
