"Someone! Someone please help!" He shouted at the top of his lungs. He looked at the body that laid cold still on the floor surrounded in blood. His hands were trembling as someone patted his back.
"Don't worry sir it's going to be okay." The man turned around and the detective was taking notes in his notebook.
"Will you be able to figure out who killed her?" He asked.
"We don't have our top cop on the team, but don't worry, I'm on the team," the detective said with a smirk.
"Who are you?" The man asked.
"Justin," Justin replied.
"Please just find out who murdered her," the man said as he walked away with tears falling down his face. Justin stared looking at the body. He walked closer to it and put gloves on. He felt the body's back as that's where she was stabbed.
"How many stab wounds would you estimate?" A random cop asked.
"Over 50, but that's not all," Justin said as he touched the victim's head.
"What is it?" the cop asked.
"Just as I thought there's a small dent, probably could've knocked her out. Let's get an autopsy report on this woman," Justin said getting up.
"Aye aye sir," the cop replied.
"I'm going to look for a possible murder weapon around this house since there is none by the victim," Justin said.
"Actually sir, we have other cops doing that. Would you mind interviewing some of the suspects? We have 4 of them," the cop said.
"Sure I'll be in my office back in the jail bring 'em there," Justin said.
"Okay sir," the cop replied. Justin walked out of the house and got into his car. He drove to the jail station and walked to his office. He probably waited for around 10 minutes before a different cop walked in.
"The first suspect is here to see you," the cop said.
"Alright," Justin said getting up. He walked over to the interrogation office. He sat down in his chair. The girl across from him was trembling.
"S-She wa-as killed?" The girl asked shaking her hands.
"Please state your name and occupation," Justin said calmly.
"Ariel Reese I'm a student at UC Davis," Ariel replied.
"So according to these files," Justin said as he reached for the files. "You were her cousin correct?"
"Yes I was. Kaeli Fitzhugh was like a sister to me though," Ariel said.
"So she was apparently killed yesterday at some time. We don't exactly know the specifics or the time yet, but where were you?" Justin asked.
"I spent the day with my friend Caleb at an amusement park. Then when it started to get dark we went back to UC Davis and went to our dorms. He can vouch on that for me," Ariel said.
"Okay, I have Caleb's phone number so I'll call him up now," Justin said.
"Caleb Walker, correct?" Ariel clarified.
"Yes, he's talked about you before I know you two are friends," Justin said as he dialed Caleb's number. The phone started to ring and Caleb quickly answered.
"Yello?" Caleb said in a friendly sound.
"Caleb my good ol' buddy what were you up to yesterday?" Justin asked.
