"I see you're just like me," the man said with a smirk on his face.
"You're going to kill me aren't you? Just like you did to him? Aren't you?" Miller asked. The man walked up to him and smiled.
"No," He whispered in Miller's ear and then walked away. He walked out of the house and after a good 5 minutes of walking he stopped. "Why are you following me Sara?"
"Ignore me, I'm just a watcher of the game," Sara said.
"I didn't know Daniel Perez was Miller's uncle I swear. I'm still a little bit drunk and just really stressed out. After Jack's death and all," the man said fiddling his fingers.
"You want to work with Miller don't you?" Sara asked.
"Him, Caleb, and Manuel. I've already got one ally which I don't plan on losing I've just got to get the other three. I don't even want to win this game I just want to make number 14 pay," he said clenching his fist."Maybe you should reveal 14's identity then," Sara said.
"I don't know who they are," he mumbled. "I just need to find Manuel before number 15 does."
"Good luck," Sara said with a smile as she disappeared. The man sighed and grabbed his phone. He dialed a number on his phone and it rang for a bit.
"Hello?" A woman over the phone said.
"Hey, this is Dalton right?" the man asked. The woman over the phone paused for a few seconds.
"Yes, who is this?" Dalton said over the phone.
"Can't you tell? A distraught voice like mine must be easy to recognize," the man said.
"Still sad about Jack's death? I know he was a good friend of yours. But he betrayed me, and I can never forgive him for that," Dalton said.
"I know and I understand," the man said.
"Okay, Jeff you know I'll have to betray you sometime? Like, I know they'll come for me. Maybe kill me or blackmail me, I'm not sure," Dalton said.
"I understand if you have to betray me. I have had all these conversations, heck I wouldn't be surprised if you showed them all to him. I just hope that he doesn't win the game. Those 3 don't deserve to win at all," Jeff said.
"I know," Dalton said. "Trust me I know. But I don't think Caleb deserves to win either. He wouldn't be able to handle the responsibilities of god."
"No, he is more than capable of balancing the responsibilities of a god," Jeff said.
"Whatever you say. I've got to go, I'm getting a call on the home phone," Dalton said with a sigh. "Goodbye." Dalton didn't hear a response back, so she hung up after a few seconds of waiting. She headed over to her home phone and picked it up. "Who is this?"
"It's Kyle," Kyle said through the phone.
"I thought I told you to leave me alone," Dalton scowled.
"It's important really, okay," Kyle said. "I'm not the one trying to talk to you because I want to it's because I need to."
"What's wrong huh? Huh? What could be so-" Dalton ranted but was interrupted.
"The police station. Chris was interviewing a blue hooded man, but the man stabbed Chris's arm when he tried taking his jacket off. He managed to get past security and he's on the loose now," Kyle said.
"Is Chris okay?" Dalton asked concerned.
"He's at the hospital now I suggest you visit him," Kyle said.
"I..I will," Dalton said stuttering. Dalton hung up the phone, her whole body was shaking. She had to go to the hospital now. She quickly grabbed her coat and it was like her feet were almost running on their own. She rushed to her car and drove quickly to the hospital. When she finally snapped out of her trans, she looked at her speed. 95 miles per hour. She quickly looked up and saw a man crossing the street not too far ahead. She tried to slow down, but her vehicle couldn't come to a stop. She quickly swerved the car in which it came to a crash on a street pole. The person smiled walking over to the vehicle. He chuckled while holding a cigarette in between his fingers.
"Did you think that I wouldn't know your plans to betray me? This is just a warning," The man said chuckling.
"W..well I wasn't..going to let you win," Dalton said with a chuckle as blood dripped down her head.
"Well you're not going to win and since you just failed," the man said putting the cigarette up to his mouth and breathed out smoke. "I guess I will win this game a lot easier than I thought."
"C..o..ckiness gets you killed," Dalton said trying to gain her strength back.
"And stupidity only gets you a death sentence," the man said walking away before Dalton could say anymore.
