Future Diary Episode 26:Just Checking In

A flowery smell lingered in the air and it mixed with blood that escaped their body. The person stripped out of the mask and trench coat and walked away from the scene of the crime. They walked for hours until finally entering their house and sitting down on a couch. Sara then teleported next to them.

"Hey buddy long time no see, where you've been?" Sara said putting her arm around the person.

"Shut up you've seen me plenty," the person said looking at their phone.

"I know but you're my least favorite so I always enjoy seeing you," Sara said.

"You make no sense," the person said glaring at Sara and then looking back at their phone.

"How do you feel?" Sara asked.

"I'm furious, my reputation is ruined. I feel like a puppet but I'm still at his hands," the person said resting their hands on the couch.

"Awh poor you," Sara said.

"I just wanted revenge and I got it but he wanted for me to do more than just get revenge and I've been at his hands ever since she died," the person said laying on the couch as Sara moved out of the way.

"And it only took one gunshot to her head. I know you loved her a lot," Sara said.

"And years later here I am as a serial killer," the person said closing their eyes.

"You haven't even been listening to your diary lately and you've been ignoring him," Sara said.

"Shut it I know I haven't I've just been messed up ever since he took away my purpose. He made my name have no meaning anymore," the person said picking up their mask as tears fell down their face.

"What a monster you are," Sara said a giggle.

"I'm not a monster. I've had to take credit for shit I haven't even done. I'm a coward I've been wearing this mask this whole time no one even knows the true me. I've just been at his mercy because he seems like the only person who cares about me. I wouldn't kill Jack you know I didn't kill Jack. Jack he was like me, why would I ever kill him? Why did he make it seem like I killed him. Why why why? I didn't kill the mayor because he didn't want me to. He wanted revenge on the mayor so I couldn't kill the mayor. But he ruined my reputation. He took away my meaning, he took the whole name gunshot and just threw it away when he stabbed him," the person said as tears fell down their face.

"So that's why she chose you," Sara said shocked.

"I have a heart," the person said covering their eyes as more tears fell down their face.

"Sorry, I was just trying to check in," Sara said rubbing her heart as she teleported away. She walked down the streets for a while until she got tired and sat down on a bench. Across from her she saw Caleb sitting down on a bench. Caleb lifted up his head and made eye contact with Sara. He started to walk to Sara and sat down next to her.

"Hey," Caleb said.

"What do you want?" Sara asked.

"I think I just need some comfort right now. I mean Jonas killed his own wife I feel like I don't know people any more," Caleb said.

"Yeah," Sara said with a scoff.

"Want to go get some ice cream?" Caleb asked.

"Sure," Sara said getting up. Sara and Caleb walked to the ice cream store and no one was there.

"Hello?" Caleb asked looking around. Christina then came running out.

"Sorry it's my first day," Christina said.
