"Are you sure you want this Cameron?" Sara asked.
"Of course I do, I need to get closure, it would've been Justin's wish," Cameron replied.
"I guess if this is what you want," Sara said as they walked downtown.
...
Hours later...
"Are you Gunshot?" Cameron asked looking at the person. The person bit their lips.
"So you're number 12."
"I found you didn't I?" Cameron asked.
...
Earlier that day...
"God I know you can hear me," Jacob whispered while laying in his hospital bed clenching the blankets. He got up from his bed and held his shoulder and attempted to walk to the window. "Why has no one come to visit me?"
"I've visited you." Jacob quickly turned around, it was just Sara.
"Yeah but you're not actually a person. You're just an angel in a human's form. You're the only one who cares about me aren't you," Jacob cried. Sara frowned and rubbed her arm awkwardly.
"I've got to go," Sara whispered as she disappeared. Jacob looked outside the window and sighed. He grasped his blanket and then reached for a notebook next to him. He started to flip through the pages and he smiled.
~Flashback~
"You nerd!"
"Homo!"
"Did you really think you could be accepted here?" A punch hit Jacob's 13 year old face.
"I-I" Jacob cried.
"You're a disgrace."
"Lose some weight."
"Hey! Stop it." Jacob looked over at the person who stood tall above the two guys bullying Jacob.
"Oh yeah and what are you going to do about it?" One of the guys said.
"Dude back off that's Kyle Livingston," the other guy said.
"T-That's Kyle?" the other guy asked as he was stuttering.
"That's right so back the fuck off," Kyle said staring the guys down. The two guys quickly ran away and Kyle looked over at Jacob.
"Please don't hurt me," Jacob said placing a book in front of his face.
"Dude, I would never hurt anyone. Well unless they hurt my friends I might have to do something about that then," Kyle said with a chuckle.
~Flashback end~
"Kyle what happened to our friendship," Jacob said continuing to flip through the pages. A person leaned against the wall outside of Jacob's hospital door and they held a gun and their phone in their hand. They looked down at their phone.
"Kill Jacob Salisbury."
The person adjusted their trenchcoat and pressed a button.
"Jacob are you in there?" It was Kyle's voice.
"Kyle is that you?" Jacob said getting up.
"Stay in your bed buddy I don't want you exhausting yourself," the person said continuing to press the button emitting Kyle's voice.
"But I want to see you," Jacob said trying to stand up.
"Listen I can't stay for long so seeing me would be pointless. Just know that you matter to me buddy. I'm sorry I haven't been there for you a lot. I know that hurts you, but I have things that have been hurting me. You matter to me buddy," the person said. Jacob sat back down and smiled as tears fell down his face.
"Thank you," Jacob replied.
"I'll try and come by tomorrow so you can see me, later," the person said waiting for a reply from Jacob.
"Thank you Kyle," Jacob said. The person smiled and walked into an empty hospital room and climbed out the window. The person touched the ground and took off their trench coat and mask. And threw it into a sewer. They walked down to an alleyway and sat on top of a dumpster. A person approached them and Sara was standing behind the person.
"Are you Gunshot?"the person asked looking at them. They bit their lips.
"So you're number 12."the person replied.
"I found you didn't I?" number 12 asked. The person grabbed their phone and took a picture of the person.
"Yeah," Gunshot replied typing in their phone.
"I was always s-" number 12 said but Gunshot punched them knocking them out. Gunshot called a number on their phone.
"72 Green Street, I don't have my gun and I know you wanted this kill," Gunshot said over the phone.
"Perfect," the person over the phone.
...
1 Hour later...
Cameron woke up in a basement and his hands were tied behind his back.
"Any last words?" A man asked as he held a gun pointed towards Cameron's head.
"Fuck off Ethan Snook," Cameron said. A gunshot rang out.
"Not some good last words to choose," Ethan said looking at Cameron's limb body. Sara stood behind Ethan with her arms crossed.
"Is this what Cameron wanted?" Sara mumbled to herself.
