Chapter Sixty

Meredith's P.O.V

"What are you thinking about?" I heard Harry's voice. "Or are you really sleeping?" 

I softly giggled as I opened my eyes and looked at him. He had a smile on his face with his dimples included as his eyes were locked on the road. "Are we there yet?" I asked looking out the window. 

"Almost," He whispered as he took a sharp turn and my eyes met with miles and miles of open grass. My lips parted as I stared at the field. Harry stopped the car on the side of the empty small road and quickly got out. He jogged to my side and opened the door for me making me grin like a mad woman. I got out the car as my eyes admired the beautiful open. On the left side of the field was a long skinny stream and on the other side was an orchard trees. 

"I used to come here a lot after school to study," Harry's voice whispered into my ear. A shiver went through my spine as I scoffed.

"Study?" 

"Yeah. It's quiet here and there isn't a single human around for miles. I used to sit right there and tried to do all those shit load of work," He explained pointing to a single tree that was why the steam on the side we were in. 

(It's quite hard to explain. Basically there is two sides which is separated by a long steam. One side is an open space and the other has a trees here and there. If you watched "This Is Us" and where Harry was in Holmes Chapel and he showed where he had his first kiss. That's sort of like the place. He was like "Over there is where I had my first kiss against a tree. It was pretty steamy." Haha it's crazy how I remember some of that line)

"Come," I felt Harry grab my hand and pull me onto the grass. I would've took my boots off but it was too cold for that. I already felt slightly cold without my jacket on but with Harry's warm arms wrapped around me, I was just fine. 

"How did you find this place anyway?" I asked looking around taking in the beauty. 

"My dad used to take me here a lot when I was younger. He said mum and him had their first date here too. Dad set her a dinner with candle everywhere." He said. I smiled at the fact that he felt easier talking to me about his past and family. I am actually surprised I didn't have to squeeze the information out of him. 

"That's cute," I muttered. He nodded before glancing down at me before smiling. He interwined our hands making my stomach jump and making me have a hard time breathing but I made it without him noticing my uneasy stage. 

When we reached the stream, I saw a line of many rocks. Harry stepped on the first one and then the second pulling me to the first. When we were on the other side, he put his arm over my shoulder without my hand still in his. It was a cute gesture and I felt warmer now. 

There was a silence as we passed trees after trees. Today wasn't very cold and I was happy about that but it wasn't as warm either. I sighed softly as I realized that the cicle has started again. It was a matter of time that we have another argument and will be pissed at one another. My stomach felt weird thinking of getting hurt again. I don't even know why I'm in this position in the first place. This is what always happens. I pretend that everything will be alright and enter the cycle again but then end up hurt.
