Genevieve~

She looked at Jeff disbelievingly. What the hell. She breathed. Is this some kind of joke? She wondered.

Just then, She saw Jeff's earnest face looking at her hopefully...

Hopefully...

Hopefully...

Shut up with the 'hopefully' Genevieve! She thought to herself.

She took herself into a flashback.

-

"I am allergic to cuteness."

Wrong. Genevieve has been hurt so much that she decided not to tell anyone who she likes or fall in love with uncertainty.

Her actually thought was OMG. Why is this guy so cute. Yet so stubborn.

-

"When she kissed Jeff." She thought," kinda of liking this. Too bad he was a playboy... if not I would have liked him.

Then actually, she had a tiny crush on him then, if you hadn't figured out.

-

"Distract him and snatch the ball." She said to Isaac. One reason she did that. She favored Jeff over Ron. Because she liked him. Why? She isn't really allergic to cute stuff.

-

Back to reality,

"Genevieve? You ok?" Jeff asked concerned. Genevieve felt a little dizzy and held into Jeff to steady herself.

"Um... yea." She said. Her mind was in a turmoil. She didn't have time to pluck a flower and start the 'love me' 'love me not' thing.

"So... I shall see you tomorrow." Jeff smiled sadly. Taking her silence as an answer for 'no', he reaches for his car. Genevieve watched him go. She kept silent. She didn't know what to say.

Slowly, she turned around and went into her house. But she felt a pair of eyes looking at her. Slightly frightened, she hurried inside. And locked herself in her room.

Genevieve widened her eyes.

OMG.OMG. Jeffery Sliverstone likes her!!! And he took her out on a date! She smiled and jumped up and down excitedly. He liked her! And she... what about her...?

She has a crush on him. Then why didn't she accept his confession?! Major facepalm for Genevieve.

Because she was scared of being rejected.

Her phone rang.

"Hey Gen?" It was Ron.

"Yea?"

"Would you like to go to the party with me tomorrow?" He asked. Genevieve mentally facepalmed.

"Um..." Come on Genevieve say yes! You screwed up your chance once, don't mess up another!

"I'm sorry."Genevieve whispered," I can't" And she hung up. She left wrong to leave Jeff in a way. She still hoped she could make it in time to...

To...

Get him.

Genevieve looked out of the window.

She saw a car's headlights on. She saw someone there.

Jeff. Genevieve was stunned. Didn't he leave yet?

She picked up her phone and dialed his number.

"Hello?" Said the so captivating tone. Genevieve wanted to sigh, she loved hearing his voice.

"Hi. Where are you?" She asked. There was a pause on the other side of the line and then Jeff cleared his throat.

"At home." His tone was kind of hopeful," is there anything?"

"Nah. Just bored." She excused and hung up. Then she looked out of the window and saw him put his phone in his pocket and sighed.

Touched by his gesture, she continued to smile. He looked up all the time, bu Genevieve hid behind the thick purple curtains.

Suddenly, she felt tired. She turned off the lights and closed her eyes.

****************

Jeff~

I saw her turn off the lights. Seeing she was safe and sound, I prepared to leave.

"Wait!" I heard her shout. Her voice was so clear, so bright, so beautiful...

I froze in my tracks.

Genevieve and I looked at each other for a minute. My hands gripped her wrists. I wished that the moment would stay there. Forever. Beautiful. Perfect.

But I knew she hardly even liked me and I broke the connection. My heart ached. I wanted to stay.

Just then, she grabbed me hard and kissed me fully on the lips. And I didn't hesitate.

It was perfect. She was my girlfriend. I guess. My heart skipped in joy as we were wrapped tightly in each other's arms under the silvery full moon.
