Genevieve~

"HI! I'm Eve." A girl next to her chirped.

It was Math. The teacher was talking about advanced algebra. And Genevieve was struggling to cope. The girl beside her had all her notes copied down an seemed to have had no problem with the teacher's explanation.

"Hi. I'm Genevieve. Call me Gen." She replied.

"Need help?" Eve asked.

"Yeah..." Genevieve admitted.

"You see. Z equals to Y and X..." Eve started.

---

The end of lesson bell rang. By then, Genevieve was all smiles and perfectly understood her Maths.

"Thanks Eve! You're a lifesaver." Genevieve sighed. Eve grinned.

"No problem." She replied. "Bye!" Eve grabbed her bag and left the room.

It was at last end of school and Genevieve wanted to go home to rest.

Lighting flashed. And thunder boomed. The lighting alert siren wailed. It was raining cats and dogs ( and elephants.) It was raining so heavily that Genevieve could not see the building next to the school.

Great she thought, as she took out her umbrella. Now she had to be a victim to the rain. Her mom's chauffeur was busy and she was supposed to walk home. Genevieve walked slowly in the heavy rain. It was a mile's walk from home. And her mom didn't have time to pick her up.

A car stopped beside her and splashed water onto her jeans. The driver got out.

"Damn you!" Genevieve growled. "Must you make my day any worse?!" With the driver's back facing her, she couldn't see his face.Drenched by the rain, he turned to her.

"Get in!" He yelled and opened the car's back door for her.

Genevieve looked her him. Stunned, she got into the car.

The driver closed the car's door and got in the car. Genevieve was facing Jeff, the driver.

"You know how to drive?!" Genevieve asked, surprised.

"Duh. If not why are you inside my car Genevieve ?" He retorted.

"Thanks."

"No problem. You helped my team win. Why not help you? I got one more pretty girl to drive back home today. And I will be doing a good deed. Two in one." Jeff replied.

Genevieve grabbed the back of his neck. She pressed it hard. And looked out of the window. She didn't want him to see her blush.

"Ouch! Let go!" Jeff said. Genevieve did and glared at him.

"Hey Genevieve , are you blushing?"

"No!!!" She shrieked. Jeff chuckled.

"Guess hardly anyone compliments you eh?" He asked, with a smug look. Genevieve blushed even harder.

Jeff laughed.

"Where do you stay?"

And Jeff teased her doing the whole ride. Genevieve blushed throughout the whole ordeal. They both enjoyed the ride. And before they knew it, they reached Genevieve's house.

Jeff grabbed an umbrella and opened it. He opened the car door for Genevieve as he sheltered her with the umbrella.

"Thank you."

"My pleasure fair lady." Jeff bowed and walked her to the gates of the house.

"You are drenched." Genevieve noticed as they reached the sheltered doorsteps of Genevieve's house.

"Nah. It's fine. Anything for a nice girl." Jeff said, his eyes twinkling. Genevieve stared into Jeff's eyes.

And she blushed for the gazillion time of the day.

"Got to go," Jeff said," Bye."

"Thanks," Genevieve said. And Jeff drove away.
