Genevieve~

Well, apparently Genevieve was held up and told Jeff to go first. Then she made her own way to Eve's house.

Eve's house was gigantic. Somewhat like hers but was painted in light blue and there wasn't a swimming pool.

Genevieve stepped into the room nervously. She didn't know anyone there, but they were all from school, and she had seen them around. Just then, Genevieve saw Jeff. That one guy that when she saw, her heart skips a beat. At the same moment, he spots her as well. He slowly makes his way to her, the girls in the room kind of stopped to look at him. Yes, Genevieve admitted, in just a rock star tee and a pair of jeans, he was cute. Very cute. Genevieve straightened her blouse, suddenly conscious that many people were looking at both of them. The 'it' couple in their school now.

He smirked at her when he caught her checking him out. He carried her in his arms and kissed her cheek, leaving her dizzy with affection.

"Hi. Is this how you greet people?" Genevieve asked curiously. Jeff just smirked.

"Yes. So to attract your attention, is checking people out how you greet people?" Jeff retorted. Genevieve rolled her eyes. Some things hadn't changed. Jeff was still an annoying poop. Wait. Did I just call him a poop?! Genevieve laughed. Jeff just stood there smirking. Genevieve punched his arm.

"Checking people out isn't a crime! Nor is it a greeting. But I saw many girls checking you out just now... maybe they are dying for your attention." Genevieve replied coolly. Jeff just smirked.

"See, you better appreciate me or I will just go to them. I think they will pay a million bucks to be my girlfriend."Jeff whistled, then suddenly, he paused "Wait are you jealous?" He teased. Genevieve faked look at him in horror. She was jealous but she wouldn't let it show.

"No."Genevieve groaned. Jeff just smirked, and he reached out his hand.

"Enough of talking. Would you like to dance?" He asked bowing his head. Genevieve smiled. And accepted his hand. Together hand in hand, they went to the centre of the room to dance. She smiled. It was so perfect. Jeff took her as they swayed to the music. And then, the music changed to a slow one. Jeff leaned closer to Genevieve. Her heart quickened.

"I haven't got a chance to say this yet. But now... you look amazing tonight." Jeff whispered into her ear. Genevieve blushed. After the song, they reluctantly broke apart.

"I got to go play the drums. See you later." He said and winked, motioning towards the stage. Then Genevieve watched him go onto the stage. He smiled and waved at her.

Genevieve felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around. It was Eve.

"Great party here!" Genevieve commented. Eve smiled.

"Thanks." Eve nodded towards the stage. " I heard you two are a couple." She teased. Genevieve blushed. And nodded solemnly.

"You two are perfect together. Better than him and Veronica, Eve shuddered. Genevieve shrugged, just then someone called for Eve.

"Got to go!" She said," see you around." Genevieve waved, as Eve disappeared in the crowd. The band was playing Picture to Burn by Taylor Swift. Genevieve nodded to the music. Jeff was plying the drums professionally.

"Hey." Someone greeted her. Genevieve looked at him. He wasn't that familiar to her.

"I'm Steve." He said and gave her a yellowish colour drink."You wanna some? It's mango peach tea." He asked her. Genevieve smiled and gladly took it from him and emptied it in a gulp, she didn't know she was that tasty. By the time she finished the drink and wanted to thank Steve, he was gone. Weird. She thought. Just then she felt her head spin. She saw Eve at a corner.
