My hands run through his messy, wet curls as he pushes me harder against the rock. Although it slightly hurts it also feels so, so good. His hands pull my closer to him, my back arched so the our chests are pressed together and I'm positive he can feel my heart beat.

I hum in satisfaction and I can feel Luke smile against my lips as a hand moves up to slightly cup my cheek, his tongue trails across my lip slightly and I open my mouth granting him access. It doesn't feel as weird as I'd initially expected and I moan softly at the euphoric feeling, Luke's tongue massages mine gently before we pull away breathless.

We are both silent and I keep my eyes closed, too afraid to open them. He speaks first however which doesn't surprise me.

"That was-" He started only to be cut off my himself as he looks at me with an unknown expression,

"I know." I laugh, "I'm a bad kisser, I've only like kissed one other boy and that was in spin the bottle when I was twelve so."

He laughs at my awkwardness and pulls me closer to him again, his hands brushes past my cheek before taking a place on the back of my neck.

"Amazing. I was going to say amazing."

I awkwardly smile at him before dropping my head, completely clueless as to what I need to say to make the situation at least comfortable again. Luke places two fingers beneath my chin before he lifts my head and I am hit with a strong sense of déjà vu, he has a soft smile on his face as he places a last soft kiss upon my lips.

And everything goes downhill over the next few days.

It's been three weeks and I still haven't seen Luke, which is surprising since we take the same major. According to Mrs. Paterson he's taken some personal time off, though I know I shouldn't care I do regardless.

Last time we encountered was the day after we went to the beach and he looked a mess, his hair was messy and the bags under his eyes as prominent as ever.

That's what has now lead me to ranting about him to Finley as she desperately tries to finish an assignment for a class that is due in an hour.

"Is he going to be alright? Have you talked to him? Has he even gone back to him dorm?"

"Ashton says that he's been sleeping a lot, which is weird because Luke never sleeps, and he's been really quiet and ditching band practise as you already know." She sighs out as I rub a hand across my forehead in hopes of relieving a slight headache I have been blessed with,

When I reevaluate her sentence my eyebrows furrow in confusion, "What do you mean it's weird for him to sleep?"

She turns her station away from their assignment as she turns to face me.

"Luke's got insomnia, really bad insomnia but he can't take the medication they give him because it messes with his other pills he need to take." Her face is distorted every so slightly in concern and I find myself worrying even more,

Sure I didn't like Luke before but now I'd like to consider us at least friends and as a friend I think it's my job to be worried about him.
