11.The first day.

Hello Neighbor! reached #402 on romance!! This is so great. I'm so happy right now. For the past three days I've been really sick and couldn't even stay home since I had important classes. So this made me really happy. I shouldn't be writing when I'm sick but meh.

By the time I got back from Julies, it was 5 in the evening.We had a lazy day and had Mac n cheese as brunch.We watched Vampire diaries and gushed over Damon for a while and lounged around on the couch for the most part of the day. We all started leaving at 4 and I went by the grocery store to get some ice cream.

I decided to take a relaxing bubble bath since I got nothing to do till 9 p.m. At 9 I made dinner plans with Aaron and the guys. We decided to go bowling after dinner. Sometimes it gets tricky hanging out with my friends because Aaron is my best friend so I'm close to the guys compared to Mon and the other girls. So most of the times I'll be making double plans to compensate. So its going to be I, Aaron and the guys and Sydney, Joshs girl friend. She doesn't hang out with the usual group but we've got pretty close since she usually comes along when I hang out with the guys.

I took a bath for about 40 minutes and got into my bathrobe since I had a lot of time before I had to get ready and I didn't want to get my clothes wet by my hair. I lounged on the couch playing reruns of friends. Its winter break so I got 15 free days and I planned to waste away every one of them.

I watched Friends for a couple of hour before deciding to get ready. I planned on meeting them at the Pizza place directly but since I got time I'll drop by at their home and catch up with their fishes. Yes. The guys had fishes.

I decided on a simple top that reached till the waist band and a blue torn jeans. I picked up matching sneakers and a bag. (Check out the outfit at the beginning of the chapter). By the time I was done applying nude lip gloss I heard a loud bang in the hallway.I stared at the door wide eyed for a moment contemplating whether to check what or whoever it was. I was still processing when I heard someone banging loudly on a door and it wasn't mine. I decided it must be one of Jaces friends trying to get him to open the door.

I was stuffing some money into my purse when I heard someone swearing.I was surprised when I realized it was Jaces voice. I decided to check if everything was alright when I didn't hear him get into his flat. He is usually really quiet so I wanted to see if everything was alright.

I opened the door to see quiet a sight. Jace was leaning on the wall and knocking on his door in a rythm only he could get. He looked tired and his hair was messy. He didn't look up when he heard me opening the door. I moved a bit closer to him and started speaking hesitantly. "Um Jace?" My voice was quiet but he looked at me this time.

"Hey Eva! What are you doing here?" He asked enthusiastically and I raised my eyebrow at him. "I live here?" I answered more like a question. He just smiled goofily and I stated wierdly at him. What happened to my broody neighbor? I moved closer again to get aclear look at his face. He resumed his knocking when I didn't speak.

"Jace? Why are you knocking on your door? " I asked when he kept knocking on the door. He gave me a flat look like I was the dumbest person on the planet. "Duh! I forgot my keys so I'm knocking so that someone will open." He answered confidently.

"You know you live alone right?" At this he had the 'Oh shit!' expression. He just gave me a confused look and slumped down against the floor. I looked at him wide eyed. "Are you okay Jace? Are you drunk?"I asked in a panicked voice. I didn't know how to deal with people who are wasted. And Jace looked in a pretty bad shape.
