Hey guys!

Now that I've sucked up to you enough(just kidding!), let's get on with the story. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Happy reading. :)

Have you ever had so much information crammed into your head that your head feels like it's about to explode any minute? That's exactly what's happening to me right now. It's been almost a week since the sleepover and life's gotten so busy. I have classes non stop with exams coming up again. I wish I could go back to days when coloring a flower and a leaf was considered homework.

The one good thing that came out of this week was Mon and Matt. They've decided that both of them are being silly and finally fessed up. Today was their first date and Mon was freaking about it for the whole week. I was up the whole night yesterday helping her pick her outfit, shoes and stuff. Finally I got home only for Matt to attack me with questions on where to take her. It was a long day and I was running on 2 hours of sleep.

The sound of my stomach growling interrupted my train of thoughts. It's been at least 20 hours since my last meal and that was ramen noodles. I sighed and got up from my desk knowing that  there was nothing in the fridge. I decided to go on the 5 minute walk to the nearest diner. I hope the walk would at least clear my head so I can stuff with a little more information. I quickly got dressed seeing as no one would notice what's inside the winter coat. I wrapped a scarf around my neck and put on gloves and I was finally ready to go.

I locked  my door and was waiting for the elevator(I had no energy left to spend on stairs) when the elevator doors opened and Jace walked out. He was staring at his phone in deep thought and didn't notice. Or may be he was pretending. Who knows with this guy?

As soon as he walked out and reached his door I got into the elevator.I was waiting for the elevator door to shut when he lifted his head up and noticed me.

"What, no hello?" He asked in an amused tone.

"Sorry. I was just." I trailed off awkwardly.

"Ignoring me?" His voice was curious now.

"What? No. I was just thinking about my stack of notes waiting to be read." I replied defensively.

"Right." He drawled out.

I just shuffled awkwardly. To be honest I don't know if I was avoiding him. I mean it's been a while since we've had a proper conversation. A week to be exact. I just don't get him. It's like I'm the only one who has to make an effort to make a conversation every time. And I don't know if I'm comfortable with it. I mean it's like I'm not a nice person.I don't mind being the first one to say hello or good morning. I just feel like my being friendly might be annoying to Jace. I may be nice but I'm not a masochist. So may be I kind of am avoiding Jace.

"So where are you going?"He said after the long awkward pause.

Okay what's taking this stupid elevator so long?Is it broken or something? Or may be it was my luck that's broken.

"I was just going out to get some food."I gave a small smile.

"You were going to walk?"His eyebrows shot up at that idea. "It's freezing out there.I just got back and there's no one on the streets." He explained.

"I'll be fine. It's just a five minute walk and I'll call Aaron to pick me up on the way back." I shrugged nonchalantly.

"You know what? I think I saw that the diner was actually closed." He blocked the door with his leg now. Is he serious?
