What do you guys think about the new cover? Do you like it better?Lauren
I woke up on the couch with Normani's arms wrapped around me tightly. I was laying on her with my head pressed against her shoulder, trying to be as close as I could as she slept. Last night, I had completely broken down. I couldn't hold the tears in anymore no matter how hard I tried.
But then she sang, and I am sure it was the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. With her arms locked around me and a Bob Marley song coming from her lips, everything seemed to feel fine. I felt okay.
"Normani, wake up," I said in her ear, remembering that Babs was leaving today and she was supposed to go with her family to the airport.
She groaned quietly, turning her head to nuzzle her nose against my cheek. "Goodmorning baby," she whispered in my ear as she placed light kisses on my neck, making me squirm and giggle.
"Stop Mani!" I laughed as she started to tickle my sides, still keeping a hold on me.
"Never," she answered, not stopping as I began to breathe heavier. I could feel my head start to get heavy as I tried to take deep breaths.
"S-stop," I stuttered and pushed Normani's hands off of me as I stopped laughing.
"Sorry, did I hurt you?" She asked worriedly and I shook my head, trying to smile my way out of this one as I got up.
"No." I grabbed her hands and pulled her up, the aching in my chest going away as I smiled and tried to kiss her.
"Ew, no. I haven't brushed my teeth yet," she complained and I rolled my eyes.
"You're ridiculous," I mumbled as I pecked her lips before pulling away to go into the kitchen. She followed me and I went to a cabinet, taking my medicine out. I filled a cup with water and Normani left the kitchen, going to the restroom as I shoved the pill in my mouth and swallowed it.
I yawned as I pulled some cereal out of another cabinet and got two bowls, taking a milk carton from the fridge. Normani returned just as I was putting two spoons in the bowls and dang did my girlfriend look good.
"Wow, those jeans..." My eyes rolled over her thick legs as she adjusted her crop top and smiled at me.
"What about them?" She asked.
"They just look really fucking good babe," I answered as I went around the counter and sat on one of the stools.
"Thanks," she blushed and I smiled as she sat down with me and started eating her cereal.
"Are you ever going to take my shirt off?" She asked and I shook my head.
"As long as I don't have to take it off, no."
"Don't you want to come to the airport with us to say goodbye to my grandma?"
"I'm allowed to come?"
"Of course." I looked at her and finished my cereal before standing up and taking the bowl to the sink. "But that does mean you have to take this off," Normani whispered as she trapped me against the counter, setting her bowl in the sink.
I bit my lip as her hand hooked on my shirt. "Right now," she said as she pressed a kiss to my ear and pulled the shirt up, letting her hands skim up my stomach.
I gasped as she kissed the side of my neck and let me turn around, my eyes admiring the pretty chocolate brown ones that were staring at me. "You're beautiful," she whispered and I giggled as she buried her face in my neck. "So very beautiful."
