The club was dark, vibrantly colored lights blinking across the room as sweaty, young bodies moved and danced against each other. With an unoriginal name of The Vibe, it was definitely living up to all the things we had saw people saying about it when Lauren and I looked it up. Tomorrow was the pride march and we were both very excited so we had decided to go out tonight.
My girlfriend was at the bar getting some drinks while I sat in a booth. Surprisingly enough, it was incredibly easy to get into the club and with Lauren's fake ID, it was also easy to get drinks. It wasn't like we were going to get wasted.
"Babe! I got them!" Lauren yelled over the music as she managed to slide into the booth with me.
"What did you get?" I asked, knowing that Lauren couldn't have too much because of her condition.
"I don't know. I just asked the bartender to make whatever was the best."
I sighed and nodded, looking down at the drink in front of me. I lifted it to my lips and took a small sip, not sure what I thought about the beverage. To be honest, something about it didn't taste right so I put it back down and pushed Lauren's down too.
"What was that for?" She asked and I turned her head, pressing my lips against hers softly. She kissed back right away and I smiled at my triumph before pushing her back a little.
"Why don't we go dance? It looks fun out there," I said and she nodded, making sure our hands were intertwined as I led her out onto the dance floor.
The DJ laid a beat and we danced together, our hands still holding on before Lauren started to become a bit more adventurous. She moved closer to me, looking up at me with hooded eyes as I looked down at her.
"You are so beautiful," I spoke into her ear, my hands moving down her waist as we continued dancing.
"And you're fucking hot," she answered, turning around with my arms around her. She started to dance again, this close body proximity making my nerves tingle with excitement.
We continued dancing, my hands wandering all over her body as she danced against me, leaving many men, and a few women, to stare at us in lust. However, I kept a protective hold on my girlfriend who was having the time of her life, knowing I didn't want to ruin this night under any circumstances. It meant too much to her to do that.
I sang to the Drake song playing through the club as Lauren pulled away, still grabbing onto one of my hands. She went back to dancing with me as she mouthed the words to me, smiling happily before she flinched and my eyes immediately narrowed. Her eyes showed violation as I looked above her to see a man standing too close to her for comfort.
"Damn girl. You got a nice ass," the man said and just like that, I had pulled Lauren to me so quick, he couldn't get another glance. His eyes followed her to me, a smirk crossing his lips.
"A couple of lesbians? More fun for me. Why don't you both come to my booth? Let me buy you a drink," he spoke and reached forward, trying to get another hand on Lauren but I hit it away.
"Go away you creep," I protected, holding Lauren close to me as he took a step forward.
"Damn. You have a nice one too."
I could feel Lauren getting angry but I felt more protective as I warded him off again. "Look dickhead, we don't want you and I'm sure no one else does so leave us the fuck alone!" I yelled, gaining the attention of a few people dancing around us.
Some turned away, but others stepped closer, noticing the obvious disturbance.
"Yo dude. Leave them alone," a young but muscular man said, crossing his arms and stepping in halfway to block the man.
