*disclaimer since some people need it* This book isn't very realistic(obviously<-don't come at me, I'm not in the mood) It's supposed to be fun and cheerful and just something nice to read. Yes, I know it's not very accurate and realistic but that's just the way it is. It's TOO LATE to rewrite the whole book. It's fan fiction and it's my first book for this ship so to those who send me private messages about it, please stop

I laid on the couch with Lauren in my arms, my girlfriend bundled up in a blanket I had brought from home since she hogged all of them at night. She was sleeping quietly as I looked at the time.

I had to take Lauren to the hospital in a little while so they could scan her lungs and make sure everything was going as planned. My girlfriend didn't seem very interested in going however because when I tried to get her dressed, she refused and went right back under the covers of the bed.

I knew she felt lousy because of the medication but I still needed to take her to the hospital to let them give her more of the medication. I was tempted to just stay home with her but I didn't want the chancla flying across the room to hit me in the face if Clara found out.

"Lauren, we have to leave soon. I need you to get dressed please," I said once her eyes opened and she tried to fall back asleep.

"I don't want to. It's much for comfortable in your hoodie with a blanket," she mumbled as I sighed and shook my head.

Removing Lauren from my lap, she glared at me and tried to reach for me as I stood up and walked away. "I'll be back with your clothes," I told her and went to the bedroom, pulling some clothes from her closet. When I went back, Lauren tried to stop me but I managed to pull the blanket off of her.

"Mani!" She yelled, trying to push me away as I grabbed onto the hem of my hoodie she was wearing.

"Babe I'm sorry but we have to go," I said as I managed to get it off of her. She glared and shivered as I pointed to her underwear. "Off it goes. Come on."

I tossed the clothes at her and she reluctantly put them on as I took two burritos from the fridge and put them in the microwave. I waited as she put my jacket back on and put her shoes off before waiting by the door.

I took the breakfast burritos out and handed her one before grabbing my keys and leaving. We walked down the hallway and went down the stairs which I had to help Lauren with because she almost tripped and fell on her face.

"Thanks," she muttered as I nodded and helped her stand up straight, keeping a hand on her just in case it happened again.

We managed to make it to the car and I drove both of us to the clinic where Lauren's doctor was going to check up on her. They were calling it a miracle and right it was. There was no chance that this should've worked and yet it had. Sometimes, miracles happened.

Lauren was asleep once again and I had to shake her three times before she finally woke up. "Come on baby, we're here," I ushered and she nodded, slowly unbuckling and popping open the door. I went around the side and helped her out before locking the car and walking up to the front doors. I was met with a woman holding a wheelchair that she told Lauren to get in.

"No I'm fine," she tried to convince us but I shook my head and tried to push her down as she knotted her hands in my shirts. "No, I can walk. Please."
