"What is going on with you?" I asked the next morning when he woke me up by pacing and throwing clothes at me. He was nice enough to get me coffee, but I was so confused when he started to blabber about going to S.T.A.R. labs because we're moving them today.

"We have a busy morning." My eyebrows pulled together in confusion as he grabbed my hand and pulled me so I was sitting upright. "So hurry and get dressed."

My lips parted in shock as he left my bedroom. I looked down at the clothes he tried to lay out for me. He wasn't really looking. I shook my head and got up. I grabbed jeans, a white silky button-up shirt. I tucked it into my pants and pulled some of my hair into a braid and kept the rest down.

"Aspen!" He urged from the bottom of my steps. I looked at my door as if he was standing there and I have the biggest dirty look I've ever given.

I drove to S.T.A.R. Labs and Barry took off for CCPD. I was helping Cisco all morning with his way of transportation. I don't know what I'm doing, but Cisco seemed to walk me through it pretty well. But a lot of the time consisted of him scolding me for not doing things the right way.

"Aspen, that's not where that goes." He would say.

The morning was pretty long, but after I told Cisco that I had no idea what I was doing, he let me go to my lab. I was going to my lab, but I went to see Caitlin instead. She said she brought me a salad and we both sat in her med lab.

"So it seems you and Barry sorted things out." She said as I picked through my salad.

"Yeah, but the timing of everything couldn't be worse. It seems like Barry can barely catch a break." I said, taking a bite of the greens.

"Well, I'm sure he's glad to have you by his side." She encouraged, but I shrugged.

"Caitlin!" Cisco called, breaking up our little chat. She quickly rushed over to help Cisco just as Barry and Joe walked in. Joe was angry about something, which piqued my interest. I walked into the Cortex.

"Are you out of your mind?" Joe yelled, making my eyebrows raise. "You talked to Leonard Snart?"

"I asked him for help," Barry said, making me jump in.

"You mean the guy that not only took Caitlin but Cisco too?" I asked. He looked down at me and sighed, nodding. "What could he possibly do to help us?"

"Why would you do something so stupid?" Joe added.

"Because everyone we've already tried has failed. You tried CCPD. I tried Oliver. I even tried Ronnie and Dr. Stein. The particle accelerator will go online in--" Barry motioned to Cisco.

"Sixteen hours." He said.

"Sixteen hours, Joe. I'm not willing to let the metas die, and we can't let them escape either. So, like it or not, Cold, with his cold gun, is the only one who can stop them if Cisco's transportation doesn't hold." He explained. I crossed my arms, not believing Cold would help us with something that doesn't affect him too.

"Okay, but, Barry, he's not going to do it without something in return." I tried to reason with him.

"And lucky for you, I finally figured out what you can get me." A loud annoying booming voice said. I turned my head to the entrance as Joe pulled out his gun. "Hello, detective, nice to see you again. Caitlin, Cisco, and Aspen. I thought of your offer. You want my help, and this is what I want."

"I told you," I said, glaring at Snart as he walked closer to us. Barry stayed a little in front of me to shield me from Snart, even if he wasn't going to do anything.

"I want everything that concerns Leonard Snart. I want it destroyed. Everything." He demanded, staring at the scarlet suit. He turned to Barry. "At CCPD, online, everywhere."
