POV: Angel
I see North loose it in front of me. His body is tense. His eyes are basically glazed over. Whatever Blackbourne is spouting isn't even penetrating his ears. Biting my lip, I hold back a number of different swears as the male begins to shake slightly and my eyes meet the deep black eyes of his Greek brother. "Síla, o aderfós sou." Silas, your brother. I whisper and the male's eyes widen and then sharpen on North's figure across the room. What to do next was the problem.
Observing the others in the group, no one else seems to have noticed the tea pot boiling over, besides me and the giant. Fucking hell. How did this team fucking function if no one notices others feelings. Taking a slow and calming breath, I draw the attention of the room toward me giving Silas a couple of seconds to grab North and take him into the kitchen.
"Miss. Black if you have something you would like to add." Mr. Blackbourne states his eyes focused completely on me as though I have done something disrespectful by breathing.
"There are quite a lot of things I would like to add Mr. Blackbourne." I state trying to keep my own temper in check. "But I have a feeling you and I should talk about them privately at possibly another time." Instantly I feel everyone's eyes on me but as if what I said was nothing, Mr. Blackbourne nods and then continues on talking.
Glancing toward, what I think is the kitchen entrance, I begin to stand making my way to the kitchen when Dr. Green steps into my path. Frowning, I move to step around him when his hand catches my arm and he pulls me into the kitchen. "Miss. Black it has come to my attention that you are injured." He states before I can even get a word out and I just stare at him in shock. What the hell was with these people?
Gently pulling my arm from his grip, I nod. "I have already seen Phil about it. I am okay." I state moving to step around him when he is suddenly in front of me again. Jesus fuck.
"I understand that I am not your doctor, however, I would still like to take a look at you." Dr. Green states a slight flirt in the undertone of his voice trying his best to lighten the mood but he does the exact opposite without knowing it. That was the wrong thing to say. Voiding my emotions, I look into the soothing green eyes before me and I force a smile.
"Let me think about it." I state taking the stunned doctor by surprise and stepping around him. Opening the first door I see, I quickly step into, what looks like the garage where I find the hulk smashing the hell out of a punching bag hanging down from the ceiling. Guess the garage was fucking sound proof because there was no way in hell I would have guessed this was happening one room over.
Closing the door behind me, I step to Silas's side who gives me a small nod in recognition. Hearing a loud grunt of anger, North seems to land one last punch before turning around and spotting me besides his brother.
"What the fucking hell are you doing here?" He growls, his eyes a dark brown as anger flashes clearly on his face.
"I figured you would want a sparring partner." I state and suddenly the beast is gone and surprise is clear on North's face.
"You spar?" He questions his eyes focused on me as I step onto the matted floor. Smirking, I nod and carefully remove my sweatshirt.
"They wouldn't have sent me to defend your brother if I couldn't." I state stretching out a little.
