Chapter 57: Until Next Time

Once Nathan and Gabriel have Candice secured, I let go of the girl's throat and step away distancing myself so I don't reconsider beating her to a pulp. Slipping my hand to my bleeding side, I put pressure on the wound my body shaking from the extra adrenaline pumping through it. Letting out a slow calming breath, North guides me to take a seat and reveals a large amount of gauze in his hand. Surprised, I smile and slowly remove my hand from my bleeding side. Quickly he applies more pressure to the wound at my side and I let out a small hiss in return. His eyes focus on mine wanting to make sure I am okay. 

Managing a small nod to the other, I look to Green who is still out cold on the cot. What the hell had that fucking bitch done to knock the other out? Worried, I try to stand but North must realize my intentions and catches my side before carefully pushing me back down in the seat. Turning to North, the male nods to the door as both Silas, Victor, and Luke rush in and move to their brother along with Sang. "They have it under control." North states leaving no room for arguments. Watching as Sang goes into full nurse mode and begins to check over the other, she orders Silas, Victor, and Luke to gather different materials. Damn she was good at that. 

Looking around the room, my eyes connect with those normally soft grey eyes but instead they are a little harder than usual. It takes me a moment to realize that the other is probably getting an earful about how I haven't been answering the Boss's phone calls. Offering to take the phone call, Blackbourne shakes his head and quickly turns to take the phone call near the door. 

"Don't worry about it. Blackbourne will cover for you. This has been a very long and important mission that the Academy wants resolved. They will quickly over look the lack of responses when he fills them in on the fact that the mission has been completed. The police should be here soon as well." Kota explains as he takes a spot next to North. 

The next few hours are a blur of statements, police, academy, arrests and more. After the phone call with the Academy, Blackbourne and his team are ordered to assist the police and the undercover Academy members with the take down of the corrupt. This leaves me with Green, who thankfully gains consciousness after a quick phone call to the boss. Together we make our way to Blackbourne's office to watch and get patched up.

I had never been able to see the final results of my work, usually I would be on to the next mission but in this case  Green and I sit together in front of the large monitor to watch the magic go down. North and Luke storm the first classroom along with three or four back ups. The students watch wide eyed as their teacher freezes in fear and is escorted out of the room along with two of the girls. One of the police members stay behind to answer questions. Nathan and Gabriel storm the next repeating the procedure along. Then Silas and Kota go into the third room. Victor and Nathan are in the fourth.  Lastly, Sang and Blackbourne take to the office with fifteen officers and a smile plastered on their faces as Hendricks and McCoy are escorted from their offices in front of their staff.  hey deserve even more fucking embarrassment than that but it makes my stomach clench to know that I had helped in some way. They fucking deserved every year they earn. 

Watching as Mr. Blackbourne escorts the last of the Academy and police officers to their cars he turns meeting my eyes in the camera. He knows. Unable to keep the smile from my face, I turn to Green. "I need your help with one last thing before I go."

"Ah! Angel come here and meet my husband. Dear this is that girl I was talking to you about. The one that has been protecting Victor from those boys." The bitch drawls her long arms reaching for me beckoning me into the room. Little does she know that her husband has already met me. 

Stepping into the room my eyes connect with Mr. Asshat himself and I smirk as his eyes widen in shock. "Oh Jasmine we have already met you see..." I state walking around the male before me. I see the confusion in the bitch's face and can't help but laugh. 

"Oh?! Your husband didn't tell you?" I pause feigning shock as I meet the bitch's surprised eyes. "That when he went after Victor in his drunken state with a knife I fought with him?"

Stepping back, I pull all of the power I have left and throw my fist directly into the face of Morgan Sr. The male, taken in complete surprise, falls back on his ass and I can't help but smile. Green shifts to stand behind me in the doorway of the kitchen a large shit eating smirk on his face as I step forward press my foot into the other's crotch. Monster bitch stands stunned a couple of feet away. 

"What the fuck are you doing you bitch that is my-" I shoot a glare at the bitch shutting her up making it clear that I am dangerous and not to be messed with. 

"I fucking know who you fucking think you are." I growl at the other putting pressure on the male in front of me making him call out in pain. "What you don't know is who I fucking am." 

"I am the bitch that has been protecting what you call a son. Someone you have attacked with a knife and could have killed. Someone you have used for power." I glare at the male and kick him hard in the chest before moving to step in front of Victor's mother. She quickly tries to back away in fear which only makes me feel that much more powerful. Battered and beaten I was still a strong and scary bitch when I needed to be. 

"Listen to me bitch. You or your nasty ass husband lay a hand on Victor or any of his earnings I will be coming back to kick your ass to hell." I growl stepping closer to the bitch as she does her best to try and escape and only to be pushed up against the wall behind her. "You understand me? You touch him or any of his friends I will come hunt you down and you will be wishing that you never fucking existed." 

Stepping away from the terrified woman, I smile and usher Green out the back door. Laughing as we make our way to the car, Green steps into his car as I step up to the door as the male turns on his car and rolls down his window. Confusion is clear on his face and I smile. 

"This is as far as I go." I smile sadly and Green's mouth drops in surprise. "The Academy is placing me somewhere else for the time being. Said something about keeping me out of trouble until the court date." I pause looking down for a moment before looking back to meet Green's eyes. "Thank you for everything. " 

Turning I begin to walk away but pause and turn back to wave as Dr. Green's car rushes by. 

"Until next time!"
