Tucking into the side of the couch, Axel, Raven, Marc, and now Cory as well refuse to let me move about. Resting my head on the side of the couch, I watch as Axel moves about getting medicine, Marc rushes around making food, and Cory and Raven just rush around in general. Smirking, I rub my forehead watching them scatter about as though they had never taken care of anyone that was sick. Standing from my couch, I cautiously sneak over to the counter and lean against it.
"You guys are making a much larger deal out of this then is necessary." I state watching them all freeze in their steps and turn back to look at me. I wait watching to see what would happen next when Brandon storms in with a very unhappy look. Spotting me first definitely only makes his mood worse as he scowls at me. Watching him move around the island, I am distracted and leave myself open to Raven rushing around the corner and lifting me up like a sack of potatoes. "Hey!" I squirm pinching Raven's sides.
"Eto ne to, kak vy otnosites' k bol'nomu cheloveku." This is not how you treat a sick person. Reverting to Russian tongue, I am quickly plopped onto the couch with a stern look from Raven who leans in close to whisper.
"Yesli vy schitayete, chto eto grubo. Vy ponyatiya ne imeyete, dlya chego vy nuzhdayetes' vo vremya Krou." If you think this is rough. You have no idea what you are in for little Crow. Raven's lips brush against my ear before he nips at my earlobe. Pulling away quickly I am unable to hold back my blush as the male lets out a throaty laugh moving back into the living room. But before I can respond with a comeback, I am met with angry blue eyes filled with warning once more.
Freezing, I stare the male down watching him before looking back to Raven who has caught our eye battle and is no longer emitting that wonderful belly laugh that filled the air only moments before. Holding back a list of swears, I settle back into the couch and proceed to ignore angry pants and focus on Marc who is still moving quickly around the kitchen.
"Sarah." Turning, I meet Axel's eyes as he holds out a thermometer. Frowning, I shake my head and shift from my seat not liking that I am at a greater height advantage then usual.
"I'm fine Axel. I was out in the rain and got distracted. Even if I have a cold it won't kill me." Rolling my eyes, I stand and begin to move past him when Raven steps in front of me again.
"Malen'kaya vorona, sdelay to, chto on govorit." Little Crow, do what he says. Raven states eyeing me but before I can respond mr. grumpy decides that he isn't having any of this.
"Leave her be. If she wants to suffer. Let her." Brandon grumbles his eyes shooting daggers into my figure. Rolling my eyes, I turn to the male who has his panties in a twist.
"Ah that is where you misunderstand." I tease as I walk around Axel and then Raven my eyes running over the two before moving over to him. "I like to be the one to inflict the suffering." Just as I expect Brandon extends his fist toward my face and makes full contact with my cheek. Not allowing myself to flinch and doing my best to control the anger that flairs up in my stomach, I straighten myself and look down to the stunned twin.
"Are you good?" I question keeping my voice even as the male just stares at me. Confused, he just sits there and I take it as a yes. Taking a breath, I step away from the male not trusting myself just yet not to take a swing at him as I stare him down. "Good because you need to get it fucking into your thick head." I growl the male dead in the eyes as I lean toward him. "I AM NOT GOING TO GET WITH AXEL!" I scream letting out my frustrations in one go. With my voice now rough, I swallow and take a slow breath gathering myself. "Did I make myself clear?" I state in a deadly tone waiting for the boy to pick up his fucking jaw. Not getting an answer I close the gap in between us. "I want a fucking response because apparently you didn't hear me the first time."
Brandon's eyes go wide and I glance to Axel who looks upset now as well. Straightening, I wait for him to yell at me but instead his eyes focus upon Brandon. "I thought I told you that there wasn't anything between us any more." His voice is deathly quiet and I know that this was exactly the conversation he was trying to avoid. The reason why our perfect little fucking world shattered all those years ago.
Stepping back, Brandon shoots up out of his chair and lets out an upset grunt. "I see the way you look at her! You can't deny that you still like her. And after..." I frown unsure how Axel's other girl would effect Brandon when I spot the pained look that is mirrored in Marc, Cory, and Raven's face. They all had been dating her... like the Blackbourne team. Sitting down heavily on the stool, I look to Axel whose eyes are flickering from anger to pain. He wanted to explain but he knew it wasn't his place too. Biting my inner cheek hard, I know that I have to speak up.
"He and I can't be together Brandon." I state looking the male dead in the face letting him know that I am not repeating this information again but this time my voice is quiet with no rage at all. "I don't know what happened with this last fucking girl but I can tell you that Axel and I will not be together again. Sure there is lust that occurs. But Axel and I can't be together because he wants to be a father." The truth hangs painfully out in the air and I glance to Axel giving him a small smile at his pained look.
"He is a wonderful man who deserves to be a father. I will not and can not have a child." I state meeting the pained look provided from Brandon. Turning away, I lightly touch my now bruised face before letting out a sigh. "Are we good? Can you stop shooting glares at me when I walk by in the hallway now?" Brandon nods and I hold still as Marc appears at my side holding a cold cloth up to my face.
