I had only slept a fucking hour before I gave up and put on my original clothes and exited Axel's apartment building to go for a quick run. It didn't matter if it was pouring and it didn't matter what it was close to five in the morning, I just needed to run. I needed to run as fast as I possibly could to get those old memories out of my brain. Before I realized it I was in front of a random shop in the middle of downtown. Shaking, I step under a slight overhang in order to catch my breath a slight wheeze erupting from my lips. My scars burned with pain but it was my shoulder that hurt the most.

Sitting down heavily, I quickly take out my phone and place it besides me before resting my head against the concrete of building. I had run across others from my past before but nothing compared to this. Axel was... special. At one point during our relationship, I thought that I had found my place in the world but after the accident I knew better. Even if it had been an accident it had been his.... I bite my tongue hard knowing fully well it wasn't his fault.

Closing my eyes for a moment, I am back in the street. The day was chilly and there was no one else around besides Axel, Veronica, and myself. Her gun drawn and she stands about ten feet away from Axel the barrel with him in sight. Her wild brown eyes unfocused and enraged as tears stream down her face. Her voice is shrill as she accuses Axel of flirting with her and then a gun shot. But she is too green to be firing a gun and doesn't realize that the after shock will occur along with the sound. She shrugs surprised and all I can feel is a fire erupt in my shoulder.

Ignoring it I begin to stand when my eyes lock onto movement at the far side of the street. Standing, I press myself against the building hiding myself from view. Staying as still as possible, I take a slow breath before peaking around the edge of my resting spot. Instantly, my stomach flips as I spot my bestie with her tongue down Mr. Hendricks's lips. Of fucking course.

Opening my phone, I quickly hit dial and bring it up to my ear. "Miss. Black I can tell your day off is going well if you are calling me at 5 am." Mr. Blackbourne's voice comes out smoothly and I can't help but smile at his change in demeanor toward me. Guess saving a team member gets me in his good graces.

"Well I was trying to enjoy my day off with a leisurely run in the rain when I happened to stumble across Candice kissing Principle. Hendricks in the middle of Charleston." I whisper keeping my eyes trained on the couple who seem to be laughing and stumbling down the other end of the street.

"Miss. Black follow them but do not make contact. I am sending one of the boys to you." Mr. Blackbourne states his happyish mood completely gone. Hanging up the phone, I take another peak around the corner of my resting place before I dash down the street way and duck into an alley way.

Panting, I glance around the corner again and I have to hold back a groan of disgust as Mr. Hendricks pushes Candice up against the street wall and pushes her dress up. Taking a seat in the driest spot I can find, I silently stare at the ground as I listen to their sexual acts. Fuck this was going to be a long morning. I sat there for ten minutes listening to their groans and moans only peaking over every five to ten minutes or so to make sure it was still them. To my distastes it was. Thankfully, the soft hum of a motorcycle coming my way makes me sigh and I quickly move to meet it so that it doesn't scare away the two humping bunnies.

"Jesus fuck. How long have you been out here?" North grunts looking me over as he pulls off his helmet and I can't help but roll my eyes. I was freezing cold and exhausted I am sure I looked wonderful. Smirking, I motion for him to be quiet as I lead him to the edge of the alleyway and the two bunnies are still going at it. North grunts unhappily and waves for me to go.

With a nod, I begin to jog headed back in the direction I came. About a half hour later, I walk up the steps into Axel's apartment building. Making my way to the stairs I meet shocked bright blue eyes. Nodding, I make my way past Brandon who just follows my movements as I head toward Axel's apartment.

"Hey." Pausing, I turn to meet those pained blue eyes again. This time they have recovered from shock but anger is clear in his voice. "Don't lead him on." Unable to help myself, I smirk before turning away from the male putting his words right out of my mind. What little he knew was incorrect about Axel and me. Although there was lust there was nothing left and I definitely wasn't in the mood.

Stepping into the apartment, eyes are instantly focused upon me as I step into the kitchen. Rain water pools at my feet as Axel, Marc, and Raven take in my appearance with wide eyes. Fuck I really must look terrible. Axel is the first to react and nods to a door on the other side of the apartment. "Shower. I will find you clothes." Nodding, I make my way to the bathroom and strip before stepping into the shower. Closing the door behind me, I allow my body to relax into the warmth of the water before resting my head against the wall exhausted.

Hearing a sharp knock on the door, I turn off the water but don't exit the shower. "Come in." I state pulling my hair away from my face and I smell the heavy scent of gun powder.

"I have clothes for ya." Raven grunts and I open the door of the shower grabbing the towel close by before stepping out with it wrapped around me. Meeting those wild brown eyes, I loose myself for a moment before nodding to the male and taking the clothes. I however don't get far because a wave of dizziness washes over me. Thankfully the male in front of me reacts and slips a hand around my waist drawing me into his chest as I fall. "Little crow?" His voice is easily two times lower than before and concern is clear in his voice.

Shaking my head, I hold tight to the towel around me and lightly push against Raven's chest straightening. Fuck Angel pull it together. "Let me dress?" I whisper knowing fully well that the male wouldn't let me walk out of the room without an explanation. Taking a moment to think over my question the male frowns but nods stepping out of the room. Letting out a held breath, I listen knowing he hasn't left the doorway. Quickly, I slip on the long sleeved shirt and boxers before making my way cautiously to the door.

Pulling it open, Raven's wild eyes meet mine again and nods toward the living room. To my surprise, I spot Marc instead of Axel. "Come sit down." He whispers offering a hand. Taking it, I slowly sit down and Raven appears beside Marc holding more ice and bandages. Kneeling, Marc reapplies the bandage to my foot. He works silently and I know that the male is bubbling with questions but instead when he meets my eyes, he nods to the couch ushering me to lay down.

Glancing to Raven, he sits down and puts a pillow against his leg. Realizing that there was no way around this, I silently comply and Marc appears above me. Moving slowly, I track him as he carefully places a hand on my wrist and slowly begins to work at my sore joints. Instantly, I close my eyes and release a held breath as he slowly works up my arm. His gentle touch distracts me for a while but as he reaches my shoulders, I begin to tense knowing his fingers are going to find the large ridges of the gun shot wound.

"Angel?" Marc questions his fingers pausing and I open my eyes. Meeting mismatched eyes, concern is clear in his voice as I begin to sit up but hands catch my shoulders and I turn to look at Raven who shakes his head..

"I'm fine." I whisper pushing Raven's hands away, but as I sit I meet the pained eyes of Axel.  Confused, I swallow hard when the dizziness from before washes over me.

Fuck, what was going on? Suck it up.

Leaning over, I hold my head in my hands trying to regroup when fingers cup my chin. "Sarah." Looking up, Axel frowns watching me closely. "How long were you outside?" Frowning as well, I glance at the time pulling my chin out of his hands. I had left at four? So... Damn.
