Taking in a slow deep breath, I raise my gloves and focus on the male in front of me. His eyes are clear and determined causing me to smirk. I liked a good fight and North wasn't the largest opponent I had faced but he was Academy which meant toes and caution. On cue, North steps forward and we begin our prancing around the padded area.

Dodging was a key factor of my defense. As much as I didn't fucking like it I was built smaller and weighed less than North so if I got hit by one of those punches squarely, I would be out like a fucking light. Keeping myself light on my feet, I did my best to avoid the punches as much as possible allowing him to graze me here and there before retaliating.

Landing a few grazes on North, I can see the fire spark in his eyes and I know I am in trouble. Letting out a nervous breath, I continue to waste North's energy by dodging but to my surprise the male switches it up and lands a blow to my hip sending me right to my knees.

"Damn." I let out a whisper of defeat as my side begins to radiate with pain from my previous injury. Of course he would find the spot I was favoring the most. Guess I need to work on guarding more.

"Eísai kalós?" You good? Silas's voice floats in and I realize that I am still holding my side on the mat. Nodding, I carefully taking to my feet once more and stretch.

"Fine, fine." I wave the giant off before taking off he boxing gloves with my teeth. "Eísai kalós?" I repeat my eyes meeting North's for only a moment and suddenly recognition crosses his face.

"How did you know?" North growls to me and I let out a staggered breath before jabbing a thumb at my chest.

"Got the same demon inside me." Taking a controlled breath, I carefully stretch my abdomen and remove the tape from my wrists. I allow myself to pause for a moment longer before looking at North. "As a ghost, I don't have anything." I state honestly. "Tha exafanistó pithanós metá apó aftó kai tha anatetheí se mia álli tychaía douleiá apó tin Akadimía. Allá o Doc den tha to kánei." I will probably disappear after this and be assigned on another random job from the Academy. But Doc won't.

Glancing toward the doorway,  I wave to the wide eyes at the doorway. "Meeting over?" I question looking at Luke whose eyes look close to bugging out of his head.

"Y-yeah. Vic's waiting outside for you. He has to go perform." He states and I frown not liking the sound of that and make my way to the front door.

Stepping outside, I frown spotting the male at the end of the driveway on his cell phone basically yelling into it. "Mother you can't do this!? I have work.... This wasn't part of the agreement you made with me.... You can't be pulling me into yet another performance." Turning to meet me, Victor frowns slightly and I quirk an eyebrow and lean against the car listening.

"Fine. I get it. Bye." Hanging up the phone quickly, I frown looking at Victor who looks ready to throw a hissy fit.

"What time do we have to be there?" I question keeping my voice neutral.

"Eight." He grumbles glancing at me before running a hand through his hair. "You probably think that I gave in too easily don't you?"

Instantly, I shake my head and check my watch. "I don't know anything about family and there is no way I am going to pretend to give you any advice but I am going to say this." Watching Victor's small movements, I point to Sang who stands in the doorway of the small house. "Since we have time go talk to your girl. I'm sure Gabriel can style you in enough time to allow us to get to the stage before curtain call."

With a small smile, Victor rushes over to Sang and wraps her up in a bear hug and I quickly duck my head down and begin to type on my work phone.

Angel: Heads up, Victor has been called to a performance at 8. Think you can get him prepped and groomed?

Tucking my phone away, I am met with the sight of Mr. Blackbourne making his way quickly toward me. "Miss. Black." He pauses as I meet those cold grey eyes.

"Mr. Blackbourne, it seems as though Mrs. Morgan has pulled some strings and has Victor playing tonight." I state ignoring his unpleasant energy and reading his surprise at my statement.

"This woman." Mr. Blackbourne quickly picks up his phone and begins typing and I am more than happy to look away at the sound of my phone.

Gabriel: You got it Tat. Need something yourself?

Angel: Tat? Yeah but no dresses.

Gabriel: Tat its a nickname girl. Get used to it. And don't worry girl I got your back. You are security.

"It seems as though Mrs. Morgan has had this planned for the last couple of weeks and there is no way of getting a replacement." Mr. Blackbourne states and I nod having figured the bitch had this planned for some time.

"Well, I have him covered security wise. It is my job anyways so no big deal. Is there anything I should be aware of?" I question watching the male before me and he frowns unhappily at me.

"Be prepared for anything."
