Imagine being best friends with Shawn and kissing him on the Kiss Cam.....

"At least they had a better first period than the last game we went to." I smiled

"Yeah, could be better though." Shawn smiled

"Well, of course, it could be better, there is always room for improvement."

"Is that why you always give m songs a 9 out of 10?"

"Well of course."

"Wow, it still doesn't make it hurt less."

I smiled at Shawn as I gave him a playful push. He was my best friend, not my best guy friend, my best friend ... period. We had been close for the past 5 years or so, since the start of high school.

We both looked like dorky kids when we were younger, it's actually how we became friends.

This girl had called the both of us dorks, we thought it was funny and became friends. However.... Shawn no longer looks like a dork, the complete opposite actually. And, that girl that called us dorks? recently tried to ask Shawn out, but he respectfully declined.

Myself, I thought it was pretty funny, Ironic even.

Now that Shawn was no longer a dork, he was popular, but he never left my side, and because of that, I gained feelings for him. The only problem was, I was .... still a dork.

"The kiss came on, it's always funny when people who aren't dating have to kiss." Shawn giggled

"Your so immature, you know my Auntie and Uncle were at a hockey game, they didn't even know each other and the kiss cam came on them. a year later, they were married."

"Wow, you know I think you told me that the last time we were at the game."

"Probably, I think it's the greatest way to fall in love, spontaneously."

"Also something you told me... last game." He smiled

I smiled back at Shawn and laughed, but Shawn's smile dropped.

"What is it?"

"Look at the jumbo screen." He blushed

My heart just about dropped, The kiss came focused on us, Shawn and I. My best friend and myself. The boy I was crushing on, but never to risk our friendship.

The moment turned my head, I felt warm lips on mine. At first, I didn't realize what was happening, but soon it made sense. Shawn was kissing me.

It was soft and filled with uncertainty. It was the most meaningful kiss I had ever felt. Of course, I kissed back.

I felt my lips get colder as Shawn pulled away. He looked at me, looking for answers. He has was red, he was nervous, and all I did was smile back at him.

"So the hockey game is pretty interesting." I smiled

"How interesting." Shawn said still looking at me."

"10 out of 10."
