"No, stop," Shawn said
"But I deserve to know, I deserve to see it before all those other girls do, I am better." You continued

Shawn sat on his bed writing a new song. You wanted to know, who wouldn't?
Shawn usually told me about his songs, he would run ideas by you, or would ask for input. You had a few ideas that made it into his songs, but this time he wouldn't show you.
"Shawn...... Shawn.. SHAWN!"
"I am not letting you read it."
"Then you read it, out loud."
"It probably shuts."
Lies, lies, lies... Just trying to get you to stop begging. It's like he has never talked to you before, like he thought you would actually think he was telling the truth.
You always knew when he was lying, he knew that too, but you were playing a game so we was too.
"None of your songs suck."
Shawn kept staring at you while he turned the page in his book. He looked down and started to frantically write.
"You really want me to read out my new song to you?"
"Yes, I do."
Shawn looked back down at his book and then smiled t himself before holding the pages close to his face.
His nose, his lips, and his forehead scrunched together right before he started to read. It was cute, really cute.
"Reading, not singing."
"Okay."
"This girl though she knew him so well, but things weren't the way they seemed. She thought one thing, but he thought the other, things we, not a perfect dream. Ready for the course... Because she thought he would show her, his songs."
"Fuck you."
"Just the truth was he just said this stupid little ton."
"Ton?" You laughed
"I needed something to rhyme with song and I was pressed for time."
"Pawn?"
"How could I use pawn?" He laughed
"Because she thought he would show her, his songs but the truth was she was just another pawn."

This was your favourite thing about you and Shawn's relationship you could find the dumbest thing interesting.
You found the simplest things funny and the small short moments to be the most remembered.
But you still wanted to know about the song.
"Good to know, can I see your actual song now."
