Kissing Booth [♬31]

If you haven't seen kissing booth on Netflix, you must! (No spoilers for the movie, so you can still read this.)

Imagine Shawn and his best friend trying to think about a charity booth for the carnival. Shane comes up with a kissing booth.

"Whoever makes the most money frothier charity gets 100 for themselves. in gift cards, but still." Nelly smiled

"Yeah, I mean cool. I have been doing charity work since I was like 5, trust me the deed is way more rewarding than the actual prizes." I said

"Free shit, free shit is always the best."

I can't remember a time when Nelly and I actually agreed. She has always been around because she was Shawn's best friends girlfriend. They have been dating since middle school. I have always wondered how someone could put up with her for that long.

I am not even with her for five minutes before I need to be tagged out by Shawn, or literally anyone.

"So you and Shawn, what are you going to do?"

"Not too sure, I mean Shawn seemed excited, so I am hoping he has a list of ideas."

"Nice, Lucas (I made up the name. Obviously Shawn has best friends but relax didn't feel like using Geoff, or Andrew, or teddy or .. yeah.. relax.)

"And you are partners, your always partners," I said cutting her off

"So are you and Shawn."

I shut up. I will agree that she is right ... wow, looks like we can agree.

Shawn came into the cafeteria far too excited. A smile on his face, a huge fucking smile on his face. He laughed to himself as he sat down, probably realizing how stupid he looked.

"Ideas?" I laughed to myself.

"Kissing booth."

"I mean, if you're running it, then we will for sure win." I smiled

"I mean, I could be the special guest, but we need a few people to work it. Especially if we get a few popular kids, it would really take off." He smiled

"I mean it's a great idea, would the school allow it though? Like they got mad at me yesterday because my sweater was off my shoulder. I had a t-shirt on underneath, couldn't even see my shoulder, but my sweater exposing my shoulder was apparently sexual."

"Yeah, that orange t-shirt really turns me on, especially the shoulder portion."

"Shut up, I hate you" I laughed as I punched Shawn in the shoulder.

"Sorry Annie, but I think you should have gone to the office, like how dare you to wear something that horrible."

"You can stop anytime now."

"I mean, if Shawn is running the booth, I and like everyone I know will decently take part," Clara said from the other side of the table, across from Nelly.

Shawn awkwardly smiled and looked down at my food as he took some fries off my plate. She was still staring at him, and for some reason, it made everyone uncomfortable, or maybe just me.

"Awe nice. How can fries be warm yet still frozen." Shawn said spitting it out into a napkin.

"Ask Newton High school Cooking Crew, I am sure they got their cooking license the same place Mrs. Jenson got her tattoo. The back of a weed decorated, Scooby Doo, looking van."

Shawn laughed, Nelly glared, and Clara was still staring at Shawn. Jesus fuck.

"I will talk to some teachers, they seem to like me. I will let you know."

"Alright." I smiled as I picked up a fry.

"Don't do it, really I might die from food poising, and I didn't even swallow."

"That's what."

"Shut up Lucas, grow up." Shawn smiled as he cut Lucas off.

"She said." He finished

"Fuck you." Shawn smiled.

The bell for class went, and Shawn smiled and stood from the chair.

"I am heading to work. Hopefully, someone approves our booth."

"Hopefully or we are back to square one." I smiled.
