Hours have passed, yet I still can't sleep. I wrote everything into this song, yet she doesn't know it, she doesn't know it's about her.

Grade 6, it was our second last year of Elementry school. Kristin moved here and the very first day we had made a connection. Although the teacher did make us partners, he thought I was one for the more outgoing nice boys, and she needed that.

I have been on tour for a while, I have been so busy and I knew she really needs me right now. Her parents have been separated for a few weeks, but now it's official, they are getting a divorce.

Kristin knew I had feelings for her, I told her when we were in grade 11, I also keep asking until she finally said yes to go to prom with me.

The song has always been about her, but it means so much more right now, more than it did before. She needs to know that.

I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and quickly sent a text off to Kristin.
