I was nervous about the whole kissing booth idea. We had to have a plan by today. If it got denied, we would have nothing. I mean maybe I could just sell cupcakes or something.
Neither Shawn or I could bake so we would sell one trash cupcake before the word got around. So something as simple as that, wouldn't work.
I was staring at my phone, waiting for a text, a call, an email ... anything. Did Shawn even know my email?
My phone light up, it hadn't even started actually ringing before I picked it up.
"Hello!" I shouted
"Jesus, calm down," Shawn yelled back
"I am sorry, I am worried, this is our one idea."
"Yeah, I mean we can get the booth by -"
"The school approved it?" My smile was so large, you could hear it.
"They did Annie."
I started screaming through the phone, Shawn laughed. I started messaging people to join the booth, telling them that Shawn was going to be there, that he was eventually going to sit in the booth.
Many agreed, and many said they would be there, especially if Shawn were there.
Shawn was the most popular guy in school. He didn't really party though, he was on a few sports teams. HIs looks and his kind hearts what people loved. All the other populars were popular for partying, drug use, and constant drinking.
Shawn did go to some parties, didn't do much drinking, and never did drugs. He was the good kid out of the populars. Many guys were jealous, and the girls hated me.
We had been best friends the moment we were born. Our parents were best friends, they went through their pregnancy together.
Shawn was born on August 8th, and I was born on August 28th. We were practically twins.
"I can't believe we are about to open the booth!" I smiled as people were already in the line."
