Do you find it hard to concentrate on your writing? Do you feel like you spend most of your writing time staring at a blank document? Thunder has a solution for you!
This is actually something I picked up from National Novel Writing Month last year, and I've modified it for use here, in the Wattpad world. This smol trick will help with getting words on a page, even if they're not Shakespeare, it's easier to have something to work with, right?

1. Set a timer for 10 minutes.
2. Put away potential distractions - phones, people, etc (it's okay, only for 10 minutes).
3. WRITE. For the entirety of the 600 seconds, write whatever you can think of that pertains to your story/scene. Grammar issues? Who cares! Misspelled 'the' as 'thw'? Bah! Wrote a sentence like this - 'he sat don.w but his stoamch was growingn so he went to gwt some fod'? Just write! Even if it hardly makes sense, you're getting those creative ideas flowing. I cannot stress how important it is not to reread your writing until the 10 minutes are over. Set the font to super tiny, if you must.
4. Congratulations. You've probably written. . . a lot. Is it good? . . . Maybe not your best work. But that's okay! Now you can reread and you'll find it easier to modify now that you have a rough draft to work with. Go ahead and turn on your inner editor.
5. Need to do it again? Go for it. Maybe you need a break for a little while - That's all good, too. Feel free to modify this trick for your needs.
I can speak from experience when I say this was my best tool in completing NaNoWriMo, but instead, I would do a 30 minute, or even 60 minute marathons. Remember to use whatever works best for you, and I'm sure you will find your story coming along nicely!
