7: River

River's POV (Jonathan's Wolf):

I can't believe that Sandy did that. I have to let it go, otherwise I will turn around and kill her. So as I followed Riley's scent, I took in my surroundings so I could figure out where I was going. There was a problem though, I didn't know where I was going. I had never been to this part of my dad's territory.  That's weird, I thought I had been to all of it, oh well.

As I looked around again, I noticed a small clearing coming up and my mate's scent was getting stronger. YAY!!!! I found her! Gosh I sound like a complete girl. 

I slowed to a walk and stayed closer to the dense part of the forest but I could still see my baby. She was running toward the small cliff in the clearing and she ruffly trhew herself ff the cliff. I got worried for a minute but then I realized that her scent was super strong here so she must have done that before.

She went under water with all her clothes on and she didn't merge from the surface after a minute. I got worried tht she didn't know how to swim and she had drowned. So I quietly and hesitantly walked over towards the swimming hole. I saw bubles and her moving around and swimming. I stared at her for a couple more minutes and she just explored the swimming hole and then she sat on the bottom and it looked like she was meditating. She had been under there for 5 minutes now and I was amazed that she was able to hold her breath that long. She opened her eyes and I ran as fast as possible towards the woods. I didn't want her to come take a breath and see a large wolf staring at her. She emerged and she got out. She went to the cliff and I watched her lay down and start to sunbathe. After about 15 minutes, she took out her phone and started to text someone. After awahile she put her phone down and looked towards me. That's when I decided to come out of the woods so she could clearly see me.

As I came out, I noticed Riley was holding her phone very tight and was slowly moving farther and farther away from me. I lowered my head and tried my best not to growl at her because she moved away from me. She saw my head lower and realized I meant no harm so I continued to take slow steps towards her to make sure I didn't scare her away.

I jumpd up onto the small cliff she was sunbathing on and I layed down right next to her so my furry body was touching hers. Everywhere her skin touched my fur, I felt hot tingles shoot through my body. It felt so good. As she was putting a hand out to pat me, I shifted my body weight so that I was leaning into her touch.

We sat there for awhile, just talking, until she took out her phone to check the time. Then she abruptly stood up so my head fell to the ground. I whimpered as I noticed she was getting her stuff so she could leave. The she said, "Don't worry, I'll see you tomorrow after school. OK?" It was as if she knew I could understand her so I nodded my head yes, showing that I did understand her. She looked surpised for a moment and then she took off running, to what I think would be her house.

After she was out of sight, I ra n back to the pack house. As I was running, I thought about everything she told me. About her family, her old life back in Georgia, her problem with the bullies... I growled at the last one. I feel bad that I wasn't able to be there for my perfect mate in her time of need. She told me more stuff about her, like her likes and dislikes, etc.

When I got to the pack house, I shifted into Jonathan's body but kept control. I got dressed in the clothes that the Omegas leave out for us to change into when we shift back. after I had clothes on, I walked into the pack house and I found Sandy sitting on the couch and man did I not want to deal with her right now. So I used my Soon-to-Be Alpha voice and commanded her to leave and not come back until I ask her to do so. Sandy stared at me for a moment but soon said, "Fine, but you will ask me to come back to you." I simply pionted towards the door and she left with her head down and she pouted as she left.

I went to Jonathans room and let him take control again. But not before thinking about Riley. Soon Jonathan fell asleep and we both dreamed about our beautiful mate, Riley.
