You awoke to the peaceful sound of Murdoc strumming on his guitar. You smiled softly to yourself, stretched your legs out, and rolled over to face him rather than the wall. "Good morning, Muddz." He glanced to you and smiled. "Mornin'. Once you get up, do you mind going to get some more food? There should be a free breakfast buffet open. I went on a smokin' walk early this morning and saw people settin' up." You yawned and nodded. "Alright. You should go with me, though. What if I get something you don't like?" Murdoc plucked an out of tune note defiantly and tossed his head back. "The whole point you me askin' you to go was so I wouldn't have to get dressed." Your cheeks began to heat up, and your eyes scanned his body. You pulled your blanket up over your mouth and squinted at him, trying to hide your smile. "You're naked?" Murdoc chuckled and ran his fingers through his hair. "Yeah, hope ya' don't mind." You scrunched your nose and shrugged. "I don't. Just... just get dressed please. No one wants to see that." You teased, rolling back over so you wouldn't see him when he finally got up. Murdoc scoffed, and you heard him get out of bed and unzip the suitcase next to his bed. "Lotsa' girls want to see all of this, thank you very much." You giggled and rolled your eyes. "Mmhm, keeping telling yourself that, Murdoc."
"Okay, you can roll over and getcha' self dolled up now." You tossed the blanket and sheets off of you and sat straight up. You reached up and stretched your arms, glancing over at Murdoc. He still had major bed head, but he didn't seem to mind. He was wearing his classic jeans he had been wearing for the past week or so, and a burgundy sleeveless shirt. He cleared his throat and looked over at you. "What?" You snapped out of your little daze and looked down at your bed. "Nothing I... sorry. I don't remember you getting that shirt." "I had clothes in my back seat, packed those of course." You raised your eyebrows and nodded, getting out of bed and going to your suitcase. "Makes sense." You unzipped your suitcase and pulled your shorts and shirt out that Murdoc had bought you. "We need to do some laundry. I pretty much only have one shirt, other than my pajamas."
"Borrow one of mine." Murdoc said, lifting his suitcase up and placing it on his bed. "Pick out any one ya' like." You smiled, placed your shirt to the side, and walked over to him. "Thank you." "No problem."
You sorted through his clothes, pulling out a signed Gorillaz shirt, the picture of their album on the front of it. It was signed by Murdoc and 2D. You cocked and eyebrow and held it up. "Wonder if there are any Gorillaz fans on this cruise?~" You snickered, setting it aside as what you were going to wear for the day. Murdoc rubbed the bottom of his nose and turned away, a bit embarrassed that you had picked that shirt out of all the one she had. "Nah. Everyone 'ere is too old." You rolled your eyes and nodded. "Yeah. You're right from what I've seen. Now, you should go wash your face, brush your hair and... brush your teeth while I change. Sound like a plan?" Murdoc shrugged and started to make his way over to the bathroom. "I mean I guess."
Once you heard the door close and the sink water start running, you took your pajamas off and changed into his gorillaz shirt and your shorts. His shirt was a bit baggy, so you tucked it in. You folded your clothes and laid them on top of your suitcase. You then proceeded to make your bed, as if you had guests coming over. Once finished, you looked over to Murdocs bed and scoffed in disgust. You decided to do him a favor and make his bed as well. By the time you were done, he finally walked out of the restroom. He looked much better. The dried blood streaming from his nose and onto his lips was gone, his hair wasn't nearly as greasy, and he looked a bit more comfortable. You smiled at him, and he blushed in return, quickly turning his head to the side. He rubbed the back of his neck and cleared his throat. "Ready ta' go grab some breakfast?" He asked, walking over to the door. You nodded and followed him out of the door and down to the front deck.
The sun was high in the sky, and you shielded your eyes using your hand until you came up to a table with an umbrella. There were many other people around, all older than the two of you. Murdoc wasn't lying, you thought, taking your seat at the last open table. "Dont'cha wanna get some breakfast, too?" Murdoc asked, nodding his head at the line to the buffet. "Yeah, of course. Go get yours first though. I'll save the table." Murdoc snickered. "Good idea, luv." He the turned around and walked over to wait in line. You watched him for a moment, but then twisted back around to look out at the ocean. You hadn't been out on the water since you were about twelve, and that was with your friend and her parents on a fishing trip. You had always been scared of the ocean; until that day. You guys let the water carry the boat further out, just drifting with the waves and the current. You saw dolphins up close, so close you could have reached out and touched them. But your friends father advised against it. But, ever since then, you had loved the ocean. The things in it may be scary, but it was still beautiful. And the fact that you were on a free, luxurious cruise made it even better. Your wave-watching was cut short by Murdoc sitting down in front of you. "Your turn, luv."
You came back to the table with orange juice and some nice breakfast foods you liked. But by the time you were back at the table, Murdoc was nearly done with his plate. "Sorry, Muddz. The line was long." He shrugged and continued eating. You took a sip of your orange juice and began to eat yourself. "Sure es' lovely out, eh?" He mumbled, his mouth half full of food. You giggled and swallowed what you had in your mouth. "Yeah... I was just thinking that." He nodded and let out a sigh, swallowing too. "Wanna just stay out 'ere and see what all the cruise ship has? Ah' mean, there isn't much ta' do in the room, so I don't think there's that big of ah' choice." You smiled crookedly and moved your food around with your fork. "Mhm. I'm fine with that. So, slow down with your eating. We don't have anywhere specific to be." Murdoc scoffed, rolled his eyes, and continued to shovel food into his mouth. "Make me."
"I don't want to embarrass you~"
"Don'tcha mean you don't want to embarrass ya'self, hun?"
You shook your head and took a bite of scrambled eggs. "I meant what I said. I even proved it on the dock."
Murdocs face turned bright red, and he immediately shut his mouth. He began to anxiously tap his foot on the ground. "Eheheh, whatta night." He mumbled, gulping down some of his water. You nodded in agreement. "Sure was..."
