You sat on the foot of your bed, waiting in the clothes Murdoc had brought you. You had time to think, but you still couldn't begin the imagine why this old idiot would kidnap you and trap you beneath the waves. You didn't feel like the room was moving, so you weren't beneath a boat or in some weird submarine. You sighed through your nose and sat up straight. You tapped your foot against the concrete floor and stared at the door.

Finally, the door clicked and Murdoc made his way into frame. He smacked his hands together and rubbed them, chuckling beneath his breath. You narrowed your eyes and glared at him. "So, (y/n), doll baby... I bet'cha wondering why you're here. It's quite simple, really. You see... I think a new album for my amazing band is needed. We may not 'ave Russel, or the real Noodle... but faceache is 'ere and well. And, ah've got plenty of other artists here to 'elp with the album. Like you, for example." You let his words sink in. You were still a bit confused.

"Why me, Niccals? I thought I made it pretty fucking clear I didn't want to see you aga-"
"I need you here." He cut you off. He had that same gentle tone in his voice that he had when his lips met yours on the cruise. You felt your face heat up, and you tried your best to shake it off. You groaned and crossed your arms. "Do you really? For what?"

"Song writin... singin... ehh, mostly singing. Ah've already got majority of the songs done. I was thinking you could sing on at least two of 'em, maybe help with background instrumentals on othas."

"I really have no choice, do I?" You growled.

He chuckled for a moment before exhaling through his broken nose. "Yah really don't."

"Then leave me alone, Murdoc. Let me... Let me think about all of this a little more. For God's sake, you just fucking kidnapped me."

The room fell silent, the only noises coming from the surrounding rooms through the thin walls, and the sloshing of the waves you were beneath. Finally, Murdoc left the room without another sound.

And you were alone again.

Yeah, you had thought about it for almost a day now, and you had began to come to terms with the fact you were once again ripped away from your life by the same criminal. But, you couldn't believe it was Murdoc. And that it was for another album. Not the fact he still loved you, nothing even close to being romantic. It was for labor yet again.

You tapped your foot on the ground. You looked over to the piano you had always wanted to learn how to play. While I'm here, I should do something constructive... you thought as your rose to your feet.
