Perfect Strangers [Somi x Samuel]

Somi's P.O.V.

It was the last day of hell week. Time went so fast that it just felt like yesterday.

The intramurals were gone off since  last month and it was quiet successful.

Our section also won the overall prize.

And everything didn't get back to normal after the intramurals.

There was something big ahead of us.

Which, every elderly you hear from, "Exams determine success"

Everyone worked their minds out and tried not to fall into a lower class.

Some were maintaining their ever so glorious honor roll.

And I was one of them. 

I hadn't had much sleep, and I'd usually wake up at a desk.

There was no existing breakfast, lunch, nor dinner. 

And I was just so thankful to Samuel that he made sure I ate atleast 3x a day.

He was also studying his butt out too.

But I think he worried for me more than studying.

I was just so thankful to him.

Everyone looked so tired.

Forcing smiles.

Faking happiness.

Everyone just had a hard time.

And we were the only ones to comfort ourselves.

I looked at the window beside me and saw the beautiful scenery outside.

It was fall.

It just looked so beautiful that I wished to keep looking at it. 

The bell rang.

And finally the last subject of hell week, Math, is done.

I released a sigh of relief.

Finally,

It's over.

I can finally see real smiles.

Everyone went to the cafeteria to eat.

We had all the afternoon to discuss the upcoming fieldtrip of the section.

So basically no teacher would be around.

Since both me and Samuel, finished eating faster than the others.

 We headed back to the classroom.

"Yah! Ennik!" I ran fast. Furthest from Samuel. I took his Oh-so-precious cap  kasi. 

"널 잡았어!" (I caught you!) Heol. I was far ahead of him. But for some reason he catched up.

"Yah! Yah! Yah!" Yeonjung ran our way, with Jaehwan and Sewoon with her. "Yah! Jeon SoMi! We have some news for you" Huh? What news? Ako yung Student Body, ba't wala akong nabalitaan?  

"Yahhhh!!! JEON SOMI!" It was Daehwi and Yoojung this time. Huh? Ako lang ba ang walang alam dito?

"HOI! SOMI! GRABE MO!" And then it was Sejeong, Sungwoo, Chungha, and Taehyun.

"Okay. Calm down. Ano?" I asked them a while to catch their breaths.

"Hong Ji Soo is back" Uhm? Tapos?

"Joshua? Then that's good then," I was about to walk away from the crowd with Samuel when a phrase from Yeonjung gave me chills down my spine. And I was frozen stuck on the ground.

"You don't understand, he's back with Vernon"

Damn it. Damn this life. Damn this story.
