Somi's P.O.V.

I see. Kung bakit ayaw akong papasokin ni Sejeong.

I should have listened to her.

I'm in front of the Oh-So-Great, Choi Hansol.

After quiet sometime, we've met again.

I thought I've moved on. 

But, as I've expected, my heart was just keeping quite all this time. 

"JEON SOMIII!" I'm sorry Sejeong. I know I should have listened to you.

"And we meet again Jeon Somi. Oh wait, let me rephrase that 'KIM' Somi." He looked at Samuel. This is wrong, kung may galit siya sa akin, sa akin lang talaga. Wag niyang idamay si Samuel.

"Hyung" Hyung? Hyung? Hyung?! Damn! Do they know each other?

"Muel-ah. It's been a long time, right?" Is Destiny playing tricks again?

I'm getting confused.

"You're making me a bit sad, Ennik. You didn't invite me to your wedding" He moved closer to me and Samuel.

"Ennik?" I looked at Samuel, na nakakumot na ang kamao. 

"Oh, so Ennik didn't tell you. There was once an 'us'" Samuel looked at me. I'm sorry.

"Stop calling me Ennik! The 'us' you're talking about was long gone! You knew it was done when you boarded that plane!" He laughed.

"Okay, I'll call you Somi again. Does that feel nice to you Muel-ah?" Should I calm him down. He's in an urge to punch right now, made-detention kami nito e.

"Hyung. You can't make fun of me easily. I know, pinsan kita at mas matanda ka sa akin, and I accept that fact. But when we're talking about Ennik, it's another story" Samuel dragged me out of the crowd and went straight to the rooftop. 

"Sam" He didn't reply. 

"Sam, I'm sorry" He looked at me and smiled bitterly.

"So the Vernon that they were talking about was Hansol-hyung?" I nodded.

"Can you tell me something? Just a couple of things when you were still together."  Is he sure?

Flashback

Choi Hansol was know to be the captain of our varsity team. He was a senior of 1 year. 

That time I was a sophomore. 

I became quite popular because of being known to be a great singer and dancer. I was also known  for my brain.

The school tournaments were upcoming and a pep squad was a must.

There was a vacant spot kasi na injure yung isang dancer kaya di makasayaw.

So they asked me, tapos tinangap ko nalang kasi wala naman akong upcoming contest.

After some practices with the pep squad, I became more comfortable.

Pati na rin sa mga members ng varsity.

We'd usually eat out kasi gabi na natatapos ang practice. 

And there was this one person who always showed interest at me.

Binalewala ko nalang kasi, di ko naman talaga siya type.

Basketball tournaments came, and before it even started. 

Hansol was holding a microphone.

"Ennik, kapag napanalo namin 'to. Give me a chance to court you" 

I was so frustrated.

I didn't want to actually, but if  I say no even if the game hasn't started yet..

The whole school will lose.

Hansol's the only chance we've got.

End of Flashback

"So, pinilit ka niya?" I nodded.

"But did you loved him?" I thought for a while.

"Yes, Hansol has this charm that could make any girl like him." Napatahimik naman si Samuel.

"How did you two break up?"

Flashback

"Somi..." He called me out kaya lumabas ako ng classroom.

"I'm leaving" I don't know, but tears started dwelling up. 2 months have passed since sinagot ko siya. Hindi pa naman matagal pero, ugh.

"Let's break up." Tangina. Bakit mo ko ginirlfriend kung aalis ka lang naman  pala?

"Saan ka pupunta?" He looked at me before answering.

"I'm going back to the States" It's frustrating actually.

I admit that I am slowly falling for this guy.

"I'll be continuing my studies there."

"Ihahatid kita sa airport" I just need to him one last time.

It's the day of his flight. 

It's a bit saddening. But I'll have to let go.

"Hansol-oppa. I'll wait for you. Just promise me you'll stay loyal"

"I can't promise you that Ennik, but I'll try.

"I love you Vernon"

He didn't reply and just walked off.

A month has passed since Hansol left. 

Dumadalang na yung communication namin, but I'm still waiting for the day he'll come back.

Desperate as what they call me, pero di 'ba, gagawin mo ang lahat pag mahal mo ang isang tao?

"Somi-yah" My friends often come to check on me. December na kasi at christmas break na.

I don't know what to do without this people, Sejeong, Yoojung, Yeonjung, Doyeon, and the other girls. 

"We have some bad news" Yeonjung held my hands tightly and my I saw all of my friends eyes filled with anger, pain, dissapoinment.

"Nabalitaan namin na Vernon is courting Kyla" Gumuho ang buong mundo ko as soon as I heard it from Yeonjung's mouth. I broke down in tears as everyone comforted me.

Hansol is courting Kyla.

Kyla Massie, my best friend and the captain of the cheerleading squad.
