Chapter 16: Remember

Cinnamon
May 13th
As my eyes cracked open in a squint, pain rushed to my head. I groaned, wincing trying to figure out where I was. Seeing that everything was blue meant I was in Sapphire's room. There was no Sapphire though.

Throwing my legs over the bed I plugged my phone from the charger. In the midst of the billions of snapchat notifications there was a text from an unknown number

(916) 888-4357:
That dance you did last night with Sapphire was legendary! If you want to learn some more moves for your girl hmu!  -Luna

I scratched my head confused as hell and opened the snapchat app. Upon entering it there was soooo many requests for people wanting to add me. Not just that, but there was also a shit ton of videos of me giving Sapphire a lapdance.

My cheeks instantly stung with embarrassment. Watching the videos my head began to hurt more as bits of last night activities rushed back into my memory.

My eyes widen as I got a snap from Desmond that simply read: seen you had fun tonight..glad she's finally your girlfriend she's always been cute.. 

I face palmed myself letting out a frustrated sigh. Eventually I put my phone down and went to see where Sapphire was. At least she'd help fill in the missing pieces.

My eyes flew open at the sound of my phone ringing. I grunted as I reached over answered without checking the caller ID.

"Ello?" I said in my deep sleepy voice.

"Hey Good morning this is Sapphire..Cinnamon's friend" the voice said hesitantly.

I sat up in bed, more awake than before, "yeah wassup? Ian know y'all were still friends I thought you was ha girl by now..considering y'all lil show." I laughed lightly yawning loudly.

"Oh! Heh yeah..we're uh just friends ANYWAYS! I seen you last night and I just had to let you know be careful being around Scarlet. You know she set up the last pharmacist she was with..I know you and Cinnamon's history and I also know how devastated she'd be to hear about something happening. Scarlet may throw good parties, but the girl is dangerous baby. Stay away from her alright?" She stated in a rushed whispery tone.

"good looking out ma. I appreciate that..aye! Don't be a stranger ight? Don't let the only time we talk be something bad alright?" I said walking towards the bathroom to get some sweet relief.

"Oh" she giggled "okay well I'll see you around Dezzzz" she drug out hanging up the phone.

I rolled my eyes still holding my phone between my ear and shoulder washing my hands. As I started brushing my teeth I replayed last night in my head.

Between seeing Cinnamon, her ignoring me, and basically rocking Sapphire's world I felt funny. Maybe it was the fact she brushed me off when usually I have her melting in my arms. Maybe she was finally over me.

I know I hurt her bad but seeing her with somebody else didn't sit right with me. I had to see where her head was.

Grabbing my phone I went to her contact and sent a text:

Good morning beautiful. I'd like to talk to you today if that's cool? Having a little kickback today I'll drop the addy when you say yes 😏😘

Pressing send I walked into my closet deciding what to wear today. Here goes nothing..
